Description: Jax crafted his lightsaber on his homeworld of Alderaan. He designed the lightsaber to benefit his favored lightsaber style form V both the Shien and Djem So variants. He choose to use black alloy to build the lightsaber because it symbolized his uniqueness as a Jedi and a warrior. The black kyber crystal is meant as a way to intimidate opponents and remind him of his own inner darkside and his battle against it.
