Jason Reeves met Julian Solo, later known as Julian Valentine, on Mytus VII. Together they went through basic and both served as stormtrooper in the New Order. In the fallout of an invasion into Mandalorian territories, a large group of stormtroopers went AWOL. Among them was Jason and Julian. They parted ways near Antecedent. Jason, like Julian, served as a gun for hire for the following years. Providing security detail or as a mercenary between warring powers. He struggled with the memories of the invasion of Dromund Kaas and fell into addiction. Alcohol and spices were his best friends.
When the Republic Remnant came about he felt like he could do good for the galaxy and signed up. Though it wasn't long until an old friend from the past came knocking. With the promise of excessive amounts of spice and seemingly limitless alcohol, Jason became a willing informant in return for pleasures of both the flesh and mind. He takes leave when he can and visits Babylon on Nar Shaddaa, soaking up the pleasures offered to him by the Red Ravens in return for what meager information he can deliver.

Jason Reeves is a tall and once fit man, years of spice addiction and alcoholism has taken its toll on his form. He has a slightly bloated stomach and sports a goatee. His body has several scars from blaster rounds that left heavily burnt skin. He is missing his right hands thumb and index finger. He wears a ragged Republic Remnant military uniform.

Annoying and constantly whining, Jason complains about his life and those around him frequently. He spends a lot of time getting high on the spice that the Red Ravens provide him in return for information. As a result of being constantly high when at Babylon, the Ravens tower on Nar Shaddaa, he can be erratic, happy, depressed, paranoid, scared or all of the above depending on the potentially deadly concoction of spices he's ingested.

Jason, when sober, can prove to be a boon in combat. The stormtrooper training he received on Mytus VII has saved his life more than a handful of times. Capable of holding his ground in a firefight. Although he is not as fit as he once was and is only good at keeping targets suppressed. If high or drunk, Jason is an extreme liability and potential for a total disaster if he got into a fight. Despite his training as a stormtrooper his skills stop there. Now unfit, he isn't good in melee, nor can he engage Force Users as he has no control of the Force. The Republic Remnant uniform offers little protection from anything.
