The Mentor
The Silver Rest
While now anointed the Master Of The Order, Josh still wanted to continue to train Padawans the best that he could. He wanted to continue to work with them, to continue to develop and shape the future of not just the Silver Jedi Order, but the Jedi as a whole. Josh had a different perspective from the Jedi of old, one shared by many within the Silvers. It was one that understood that the Jedi were people. That the Jedi were human beings who had emotions and feelings and had the capacity for empathy. To shut out one’s emotions, to become nothing but a tool or a weapon… Was that really the Jedi Way? How could you properly protect and help people if you can’t feel empathy for their plight? If you have no desire to learn patience and understanding? The Jedi were people like anyone else… And it was time to use that to their advantage instead of treating it as though it were to their own detriment.
Within the training rooms of the Rest were insulated, armored walls, weapon racks, simulation systems… You name it, it was their. Josh knew how important it was to have a proper, full Jedi training facility and as the Battlemaster he had ensured Jyoti knew if anything would be good for helping to develop the Jedi of the future. In one of these training rooms he sat, meditating in peace as he waited to welcome his newest student into the fold.
