STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES:
Strengths:
A little more than modest of muscle from the labourer’s work he has done to support his as-yet amateur career as a musician, Jan stands at times a confident young man, broad of shoulder and high of head, yet this is still a façade. When he is in his music, he is very different from when he is without it, the one confident, with a little swagger, the other worrying, doubting.
BIOGRAPHY:
Jannik never really knew his parents. He has only the vaguest memories of his mother, and no father that he can recall. He spent the majority of the first thirteen years of his life being passed through the foster system, though fortunately (or unfortunately, depending on the family), he was not moved around too much. At thirteen, he made his way to Coruscant, to find his way in the world of music, working enough to support himself and purchase the quetarra with which he composed the music for lyrics that he had spent years writing, and re-writing. He made good friends, close friends, and became part of a band, and life was acceptable…. even good. But it was not to last. Things, for Jannik, started going a wee bit sideways… and that was an understatement.
Truly, things started going awry.
He heard voices in his head that were not his own… but tried for so long to keep it to himself, and succeeded. That is, until the dreams, too real to be merely dreams, started to come, at first, while sleeping… until one day, they took him while in the waking world. It was then, that he and his friends knew things needed to be different for Jan, and Jan was afraid. But, he hesitated. He continued to perform, as things got worse, as more things started to happen. They were doing more shows, and things were getting better and better, but worse and worse. Whatever was happening, it was beginning to affect their small base of fans.
After an unfortunate public incident in which Jan was hit with a waking vision one night after a show, he ended up in the hospital, where his mates finally left him to a future he didn't want, and the Jedi came for him, telling him that only he could make this choice. The choice, the lesser of two evils, took him to the Jedi.

- Charming… for he is likeable, personable, and fun, once he is comfortable.
- Listening… for he is a musician, a bard, and always has an ear for a good story, to turn into song.
- Resilience… for despite his weaknesses, he has survived this life, thus far, and has managed to push on.
- Storytelling… as a part of his trade as a musician, factors into the songs he writes. He tells a tale, with each one.
- Memory… going hand-in-hand with the listening and the story-telling, he remembers what he hears, and can recount it with a great margin of accuracy.
- Anxiety… towards big changes, and towards the unknown.
