BIOGRAPHY:
Though there are a many stories to tell about a man like Janin Morrad, he himself really tells only one.
When asked of his history and past, Janin generally gives the person opposite him a strange look and simply launches into a tirade about the degenerate life of a gambler, how many women he's slept with, and then quickly follows up with the story of how he got his scar. The latter part of the tirade is rather interesting, it detailing Janin's encounter with a large Jedi man who had apparently hailed from the planet of Cathar.
The large Jedi had apparently tracked Janin down on some backwater outer rim world as a local trouble maker.
When the Jedi had found Janin he had almost immediately pin-pointed the gambler as a Sith, sensing the taint of the darkside within him and being enraged at his presence within such an innocent land. The Jedi, unprovoked as Janin tells the story, immediately attacked. The ferocious cat-like humanoid lashed out with claw and lightsaber, and in the ensuing battle managed to slash a deep gash into Janin's face. The battle was of course won, with the Jedi eventually ending up dead by his own hand. When the story is complete Janin generally increases his bet, smiles, and then simply waits for his opponents next move.
Whether the story is actually true is up for debate, but who can tell with so many liars in the galaxy?
