Although he supports the views pressed by the Sith more so than the Jedi, Jak himself has no qualm turning on anyone he deems an obstacle to his freedoms.
Jak has a strong hatred of Jedi and considers most, as well as their allies, as enemies on his path.
In seeking his goal of ultimate freedom, Jak has taken great effort to conceal his nature as a Sith to portray a Nabooian noble (see 'The Story So Fsr...' below).

The Story so far...
Jak Meridian was born to a minor noble house on Naboo. As a young child he displayed an aptitude for history and took particular interest in the many philosophical debates surrounding the Force.
This intuition would eventually lead to his own self-discovery regarding his force-sensitivity. Despite knowing the Jedi would welcome him, as they did most young force users, Jak instead opted to remain on Naboo, keeping his sensitivity a secret from all- family included.
In his early twenties, Jak was able to use his force powers to obtain significant power with him families house and, by extension, with the other royal families on Naboo. Unknowingly to him, his father, Damios Meridian, had grown suspicious of his son's rapid rise to power and began to spy on the young politician.
Despite avoiding detection for another few years, Damios eventually convinced the Jedi Council to send a representative to do their own assessment. While the exact details have not been revealed to the public, and Jak himself seemingly giving different stories each time he recounts it, what is known is that an altercation between Jak, the two Jedi reps, and his father resulted in the near destruction of his family home- resulting in a dozen civilian causalities, including a few prominent members of nobility and his own mother, Miru Meridian.
The event was a catalyst that sent the young Jak spiraling: convinced the Jedi were responsible, and unsure of his own father's survival, Jak fled the planet for a life of crime. It wasn't long before he was found and recruited by the Sith Order.
While not entirely convinced of the Sith Code and way of life, Jak had developed a deep hatred of the Jedi following his self-imposed exile and viewed the Order as merely a tool that he could use to exact his revenge.
Now twenty-six, Jak is now officially the head of House Meridian. Using his public persona as a noble, Jak has enveloped himself with the dark side in a quest of revenge against the Jedi and his father, whom he is convinced is still alive, in hopes of avenging his mother. This balance has grown fragile and it's only a matter of time before the galaxy learns the truth about House Meridian and of Jak himself.
