GENERAL INFORMATION
Lord Jak Mar Liviander Meridian is the current Lord of Naboo's noble House Meridian. While serving as an official politician, albeit a minor one, by day he is actually a member of the Sith Order. This however, as are his political plays, merely a means to an end for him. Anything and everything is what Jak was willing to do to keep the constant game of chance in his favor.

HISTORY
Jak Mar Liviander Meridian was born to a minor noble house on Naboo. As a young child, he displayed an aptitude for history and took a particular interest in the many philosophical debates surrounding the Force.
This intuition would eventually lead to the self-discovery of his force-sensitivity. Despite knowing the Jedi would welcome him, as they did most young force-users, Jak instead opted to remain on Naboo, keeping his sensitivity a secret from all- even his mother.
In his early twenties, Jak was able to use his Force powers to obtain significant power within his family's house and, by extension, with the other noble families of Naboo. Unknown to him, his father, Damios Meridian, had grown suspicious of his son's rapid rise to power and begun to spy on the young politician.
Despite avoiding detection for another few years, Daimos eventually convinced the Jedi Council to send a representative to do their own assessment. While the exact details have not been revealed to the public what is known is this: the two Jedi, Daimos, and most other souls preset that day, including his mother Miru Meridian, whom he was deeply close with, all perished. Jak, being the only survivor and heir to the title of House Meridian, claimed his title before retreating into the shadows, most assuming him and his house dead.
While not entirely convinced of the Sith Code and their ways of thinking, Jak developed his own hatred of Jedi over the death of his mother, driving him to eventually find and join the Sith Order as an acolyte. To them they were merely a tool that granted him swifter access to what he truly wanted: revenge.
Eventually he returned home and proclaimed House Meridian as living. Now twenty-six, Jak is officially leading House Meridian into a new future. Using this public position of power, Jak has developed a secret cover, the Crown Killer, to continue his pursuit of revenge more personally. This balance has grown fragile and it's only a matter of time before the galaxy learns the truth about the Crown Killer and House Meridian.

APPEARANCE
Jak's right arm has been cybernetically replaced from the elbow down with a standard robotic arm replacement.
Tall and slender build that hides his surprising physical strength. Sports shoulder length dark brown hair and a face shadow that he keeps lightly trimmed.
Outside of combat and in public appearances, Jak wears traditional Nabooian noble attire, the colors being dark blue and gold to reflect House Meridian.
When not in politician mode and/or combat, he wears a neatly kept black tunic with gold trimming. He also wears a mask, which he made himself, that resembles a clockwork droid; this mask is fitted with a voice modulator to further conceal his identity.

Jak Meridian is a master of his own. Dedicated above all else to securing his own personal freedoms, and untethered by morality, Jak is a wild card. He may align with the Sith Order, but the moment someone or something else offers him a better chance to achieve his goals, he will not hesitate to betray the Sith Order. In other words: as long as it helps him with his goals, he will side with them.
Despite this, his one caveat is Jedi: he hates them. He will never willingly work with a Jedi unless the ends truly do justify the means.
In seeking his goal of ultimate freedom, Jak has taken great effort to hide is Sith activities and maintain the public image of the lord of his house (see 'History').
Jak does not believe in the Force as a mystic energy that controls destiny and fate, nor as any sort of deeper religious or faithful thing. The Force is a tool that some are lucky to have access to. Instead he believes in just that: luck.
Luck is the guiding principle upon which Jak views the galaxy. Where most would say destiny, fate, or the Will of the Force, Jak simply chalks it up to those who are lucky and the unlucky. He will do anything and everything in his power to ensure the odds are in his favor.
Jak goes be he/him pronouns and is bisexual.
STRENGTHS & WEAKNESSES

-True Warrior. The thrill of the fight can keep Jak going through even the worst physical or psychological pains
-Blinded by Hate. Revenge takes precedence whenever it possibly can, whether it be sacrificing a friend or an entire planet, anything to achieve revenge
-Haunted. The ghost of his mother haunts his dreams and causes moments of intense paranoia or stress
-Freedom at any Cost. Like revenge, if he feels his personal freedoms are in danger Jak will do anything and everything to secure them once more: no sacrifice too great or too small, as long as he's the one who wins.
