Her dark brown hair is usually tied back in a practical manner, often hidden beneath a flight helmet, while sharp green eyes constantly scan her surroundings with the same awareness she displays in the cockpit.

Unlike many officers, Jaine places little emphasis on appearance. When the Empire's fortunes began to decline, Jaine found herself fighting increasingly desperate engagements across multiple fronts. She survived the destruction of two carrier groups, participated in numerous evacuation operations, and earned her reputation by repeatedly returning from missions that should have killed her.

The final months of the Empire transformed her from a talented pilot into an ace.

With experienced personnel dying faster than they could be replaced, Jaine rapidly assumed greater responsibilities. Squadron leaders were killed. Flight commanders disappeared. Entire units ceased to exist. By the time the Empire collapsed, she was one of the few veteran pilots left standing within her formation.

Rather than surrender or drift into mercenary work, Jaine followed the remnants that would eventually become the 3rd Naval Task Force. There she continued flying escort, patrol, reconnaissance, and combat missions throughout the long retreat.

Today, she serves within the growing Starfighter Corps of the Imperial Reclamation Authority.
