Intent: To create a collection of standard armors for the Fel Empire’s Royal Stormtrooper Corps
Development Thread: N/A
Manufacturer: Kelliak Arms and Armor
Model: Jagged-Class Royal Stormtrooper Armor
Affiliation: The Fel Empire Royal Stormtrooper Corps
Modularity: Yes
Production: Mass-Produced
Material: Some variants use Duraplast while others use Durasteel.
Description:

The Jagged-Class Royal Stormtrooper Armor (named after the found of the first Fel Empire) has been designed to incorporate the best details from recent armors used by Sith Stormtroopers and the armors of the past. Many of the variants look similar to the Imperial armor but make up for it with rank colors and various identifying marks. Along with the body-glove technology, these suits of armor are well equipped for combat in the galaxy. Both the armor plates and body-glove protect well from up to heavy blaster fire and most are highly resistant against slugthrower rounds (unless the user suffers an impact on their body-glove or in lens). Much like the stromtrooper armor of the Galactic Empire era, this armor allows for each unit of armor to be fully sealed against chemical and biological attacks thanks to an advanced air filtration system. So advanced is this system that the wearer can even survive in up to 15 minutes in vacuum with a 15 minute supply of air (which is held in a hidden compartment on the back. In addition, the gloves of the armor can be powered up during hand to hand combat to give the use extra advantages while fighting an opponent. However, extended use of the power-gloves can lead to HUD malfunctions (or shutdown) and it is often advised that troops refrain from using the function for more than 5 to 10 minutes at a time. Finally, the knuckle plate introduces a short 2 inch vibroblade that can be deployed and retraced via a button on the side of the right hands left finger (when making a fist , the wearer can press this button with his thumb to use it).

The helmet of the system is quite advanced, offering a variety of vision modes and an anti-theft system that doesn't allow the helmet to be powered up without speaking a code into a voice recognition system located within the speaker of the helmet. If one were to try and use the helmet without the programmed code and very similar voice to the owner they stole it from, they would not be able to access the advanced vision modes which renders the helmet hard to see out of and nearly useless. The boots also come with a "grav-field alternator" and are magnetized to ensure stabillity.

While the armor has multiple benefits, it does not come without its weaknesses. Firstly, the armor is heavy and certain designs make the wearer slower than with previous models. Also, while the front of the armor is very strong, the back of the torso is not. Due to the modern reasoning that troopers will need more front protection than back, the backside of the torso armor is weaker than the front and is more vulnerable to attack.

Basic Core Weaknesses:
- Weak to fire from behind
- Makes wearer slower than most armors
- Extended use of power-gloves can result in HUD failure

Basic Core Strengths
- Resistant against many types of fire
- Advanced HUD
- Advanced life-support systems
- sealed against chemical and bio attacks

First of all, personal shields are a no-go. Anyshield strong enough to protect an individual from modern blasterfire would be extremely radio-active, and more prohibitive to life then protective. That's why shields are so prevalent in the Kotor-era and not at all seen in the movies, along with writer discontinuity and game mechanics. Hinderances to mobility and speed are better suited for the description, and the effectiveness on the different types of armor shouldn't be statified. List the quality of each individual armor and then state if it's anti-blaster, anti-melee, anti-lightsaber, etc. The HUD has quite a bit going for it. I'd like a canon reference on a helmet having all of that functionality, or even bits and pieces of the functionality. Anything that doesn't have a canon basis will need to be removed, and we'll go over the stuff that does have a canon basis.

After looking at those links, I'm fine with the HUD system, but I'd prefer it to only be on commando variants. Your armor classes also need to go down a bit. 9 is typically lightsaber resistant materials and rare/unique armor. I'd like the standard armor to go down to 7 and all of the 9's to drop to 8's. Once those are done everything should be good. Sorry for the wait buddy.
