Jade was born to a pair of Adumari nobles, who raised her as a princess. However, as headstrong as she was, she went and learned, secretly, how to wield a blastsword as well. As a result, she not only received an extensive Code of Honor as a duelist, and a blastsword of her own, but a reprimanding from her parents, and permanently shipped off world, as “Such things are not becoming of a princess”
