Strengths:
-Determined - Jake is the product of a rough life, his parents were part of the Nightstinger Commando unit aboard the Dawn Treader. Due to this, they were a bit distant and not always around. He wanted to get their attention and blessing and joined the other children on the ship in working towards the Nightstinger name.
-Athletic - Focusing on what he could control, his own body, Jared quickly found himself in the hands of Matukai Force users, focusing his powers inward and desiring to Master the control aspect of the Force.
-Creative - Jake also found other ways to entertain himself as a child. He took to the streets, when planetside trips occured, and learned the art (yes, its an art) of graffiti, using this to mark his future kills and captures. Additionally, he is very savvy with the six stringed instrument found common around the galaxy.
Weaknesses
-Combat Specialized - Jake is dedicated to using archaic weaponry, mainly bows, staffs, swords and polearms. He has a modern compound bow, laser sniper rifle and a bowcaster to round out his armory and are his primary weapons. He prefers the ranged over the melee, as he is a student of mixed martial arts.
-Not a pilot - Yeah, he doesn’t do the flying on his own.
-Force Specialized - As a Matukai student, Jake is only as good as his training. He is focused on the Control aspects, Force agility, and moving silently. Additionally, later on he will become proficient with barrier.
-Trollop/Addict - Spice and women. They gave him comfort during the hard parts of his life and he has them both as a crutch. Something he decides he should work on but can’t get through it.
Appearance
Jake is honestly an attractive man. In the tall, dark and handsome way. Dark eyes, dark hair, slightly tanned skin and a five o’clock shadow fill out his features. Focusing his energies inward, Jake has a toned body and is ready to take on any challenge.
Biography
The child of two paramilitary parents, Jake was raised aboard the Dawn Treader. His parents were part of the Nightstinger Commando unit that sistered the Warbird Wing. Working as agents of the ship, and snipers, this left very little room for parenting. When Jake was old enough, he began to take up lessons with the other children in the ship. Taking
to archaic weapons and the sniper rifle, he knew he found his niche. He further impressed his instructors when he was able to use the Force, in a control fashion, after sneaking into the holocron room aboard the ship.
The Matukai holocron called to him and he has a baseline knowledge in an ancient mixed martial arts, as well as the Force-Control powers.
When he was old enough, at 18, he began taking missions from the ship, however, the ones he took were the chase-down missions. To root out evil in the way the ship called it, and that meant working as an impromptu Inquisitor Commando. Working from the shadows and keeping his face covered in shadows created by a dark gray hooded jacket, Jake earned a reputation of being called “Smoke”. When Jared found word of the Empire of Hand and reported to the ship, Jake was one of the first to sign up.
