Jack was gifted this lightsaber by Grace Darkson/Lady Psyona, his first mentor in the ways of the force, although he did not have much time with her, she had a profound influence on him sent him down the path towards becoming a Sith. He has an usual attachment to this blade despite almost never using it, on top of that all it's original creator is unknown.
