Remove the gif please
similar Gif's have been fine in the past so long as they were put in a spoiler with an adequate warning. You know. PG-13 and all.

Also. That Gif is from (if I recall correctly) Anger Management, which is itself a PG-13 movie.

For further reading on the subject of acceptable and unacceptable PG-13 content, here is a summery of the PG-13 guidelines by the MPAA.

A PG-13 rating is a sterner warning by the Rating Board to parents to determine whether their children under age 13 should view the motion picture, as some material might not be suiteble for them. A PG-13 motion picture may go beyond the PG rating in theme, violence, nudity, sensuality, language, adult activities or other elements, but does not reach the restricted R category. The theme of the motion picture by itself will not result in a rating greater than PG-13, although depictions of activities related to a mature theme may result in a restricted rating for the motion picture. Any drug use will initially require at least a PG-13 rating. More than brief nudity will require at least a PG-13 rating, but such nudity in a PG-13 rated motion picture generally will not be sexually oriented. There may be depictions of violence in a PG-13 movie, but generally not both realistic and extreme or persistent violence. A motion picture's single use of one of the harsher sexually-derived words, though only as an expletive, initially requires at least a PG-13 rating. More than one such expletive requires an R rating, as must even one of these words if used in a sexual context. The Rating Board nevertheless may rate such a motion picture PG-13 if, based on special vote by a thirst majority, the Raters feel that most American parents would believe that a PG-13 rating is appropriate because of the context of manner in which the words are used or because the use of these words in the motion picture is inconspicuous.

Choose two area's from that large list of area's please.
Do you have any idea what you're looking at on that list?

Yes I do and from being informed about it from your company sub. It is too many fields here as there. Danger asked you to choose two to three and I am asking the same.

The area of law this man specializes in is Medical.

Also, that list is not a list of specializations. Some of those listed are simply basic aspects of the legal process that every lawyer would need to know their way around.

For one, he's 62 years old and has been practicing law for 40 years. He's going to know more than one or two things.

I'll go ahead and admit that I'm no lawyer. My legal understanding comes from watching shows like NCIS, Law and Order, and Suits. Plus a little research that I did before writing up these companies and NPC's. But as best I can tell, here's the breakdown for you.

These are general aspects of the legal process that every lawyer needs to know how to handle.
Alternative Dispute Resolution
Appellate Practice
Arbitration
Expungements
Litigation
Class Actions

Any lawyer that works, in part, with large businesses should be familiar with these fields of law. They may not specialize in it and may need consult with their peers for particularly complex cases, but they should know enough about these fields to handle the basics.
Breach of Contract
Intellectual Property
Business Litigation
Civil Litigation
Complex Litigation
Contracts
Copyrights
Products Liability
Small Business Law
Warranty Law

These fields of law are absolutely critical for a lawyer that specializes in defending and prosecuting medical institutions.
Automobile Accidents
Drug and Medical Device Litigation
Health Care
Health Insurance
Life and Health Insurance
Maritime Personal Injury
Medication
Medical Malpractice
Personal Injury
Wrongful Death

Since hospitals, like any institution, is a business with employees... Here is a list of law fields that a lawyer would need to be familiar with to do his job appropriately.
Discrimination
Employment Contracts
Labor and Employment
Landlord and Tenant Law
Occupational Safety and Health
Wage and Hour Law
Wills and Probate
Workers Compensation

And these... just seemed appropriate fields to add to the list. Not sure which of the above areas they would best fit in, so I'm just going to leave them here.
Business Enterprises
Consumer Law
Libel, Slander, and Defamation
Privacy Law

I'm not saying that the NPC is an expert at all of this. For many of these, he would need to consult with a colleague to appropriately handle a case. But he is familiar enough with each of them.

For example. Let's say he is handling a case involving the injury of a captain of a medical frigate during a naval engagement. (aka, flying hospital) During the particular naval engagement, saboteurs boarded the ship and blew up the reactor without being detected. Since they were not detected, it appears as if a faulty reactor was the cause of the explosion. The legal action for this case would include the following...

Automobile Accidents (Since there is no such thing as 'Spaceship Accidents', these laws would be close enough)
Class Actions
Complex Litigation
Consumer Law*
Contracts*
Copyrights*
Health Insurance
Labor and Employment
Life and Health Insurance
Maritime Personal Injury**
Occupational Safety and Health**
Personal Injury***
Products Liability*
Warranty Law*
Wills and Probate
Workers Compensation***
Wrongful Death***

*would need a secondary, 'business specializing lawyer' to consult with
**would need a secondary, 'maritime specializing lawyer' to consult with
***would need a secondary, 'employees and customers' specializing lawyer to consult with

He would need to consult with 4 or 5 unnamed NPC lawyers for some of the specific details here, but he would be leading the case and would know enough about each field to actually work with the individual specialist instead of simply delegating that aspect to them and waiting to hear back.

Hell, following up the initial lawsuit drafting and filing, he'd also need the following to actually resolve the conflict.

Alternative Dispute Resolution (to attempt to 'settle out of court')
Appellate Practice (should they lose, they will need to file an appeal and try again)
Arbitration (In case there is a jury instead of a judge)
Breach of Contract
Complex Litigation
Discrimination (to counter claims that 'so and so' sabotaged the reactors.)
Expungements (to remove one thing or another from public records during the case)
Libel, Slander, and Defamation (to counter claims that 'so and so' sabotaged the reactors.)

I'm going to step in and take this one from here.

What I'd like you do is expand your specialisation list with your explanation in the post above. List what fields he's specialised in, his general fields of training, what he knows but needs advice on, and so on.

Do that, and I think we're almost ready to go.

Sure thing! It will take me a little while to figure the specifics out though.

Would... in SW terms... Initiate, Adept, and Master be appropriate levels of familiarity to use?

Also, would you like me to do this with the other Lawyer submissions I've made recently?

[member="Valiens Nantaris"]

Will that suffice or would you proffer the skills to be organized by Skill Clustering instead of Mastery Level?

Would you like any further clarification in the submission itself as to his capabilities in legal fields of Master, Adept, and Initiate levels of training?

Any further description or explanations you'd like worked into the submission?

EDIT:
the way I see it, the adept skills he can handle with 1-5 Paralegals or Junior Associates. For Initiate skills, he would need to consult with a named or unnamed NPC/PC that has Master level training or another individual with Adept training and 1-3 Paralegals or Junior Associates.
