Strengths:
  • Very APC: The thick sloped armour and insulation keep the occupants of the IX safe from medium armament and even heavy fire and AT weaponry rounds if angled properly.
  • You Can’t Hit Me: High on point manoeuvrability coupled with high speed and low profile makes the IX hard to hit but heavier more well-armed craft.
  • Traction: 8 wheels with strong gripping groves give the IX superior traction and all terrain capabilities able to drive up 30 slops and uneven surfaces.
  • EM Nope: Thicker armor and Ionic insulator between armored layers makes the IX hard to disable without dedicated EMP weaponry (like heavy Ion cannons etc).
Weaknesses:
  • Mine Mine Mine: Low to the ground and with wheels make the craft more vulnerable to mine, making it easier to immobilise by such means.
  • Big and Small: Having no anti-personal armament or heavy armament in general the IX if not supported can be out done by purposely equipped infantry, or if caught in a sticky situation can be disabled by larger vehicles.
  • Who's There: The IX is not equiped with any anti personal weapons and it's lack of windows mean that is somewhere to get in close range where they are out of view from the turret scanners they would be invisiable to the crew.
DESCRIPTION
Once again, a small addition to the HCLS arsenal, the first of many IX-series wheeled or tracked vehicles to be made, finishing off one for every type of propulsion system. Rounding things out this new craft was to take the role of an APC, being an overall new design in contrast with Harley’s usual mix and mash approached to combat craft. Fast agile protective and overall an average piece of equipment that could find use on many places in a battle.

Operating Use
As stated the IX-1 is at its peak performance with it full crew of 3, primary being used as an APC to transport troops along with their equipment to and from battle, able to then act as movable cover and mobile light at in urban environments. On the open battle field, the speed of the IX-1 makes it useful in taking out enemy flanking forces that may use lighter craft, and can counter attack in the same fashion. One must always make sure though that the craft has proper support, whether it be infantry or larger vehicles. It's low profile also make it able to drive in areas where taller craft may not be able to fit, as well as saves on storage space.

Defense Spec
The IX-1 relies on its thick full armour plating with little connecting points along with its low profile, and sloped nature to keep the passenger and crew safe. For even more safety the craft is fitted with ionic infused paint like coatings that has been used between each layer or armour, though not perfect protect is from most EMP blasts aside from dedicate ion cannons. Lastly it has a standard delfector shield installed to keep small arms from wearing down on the armor. One must keep in mind though blind spot and mine while using this craft.

Hello there, [member="Harley Fenstermacher"]! I'll be looking over your sub with you!

The Image Source should go to the webpage where you pulled the image from, not the direct image itself. So, the Primary Source link is what your Image Source should be [Or you could go a step further and from its pinterest page, find the original creation that is being shown on pin]. Primary Source is more... 'What source material are you altering to fit here?' So, if you were modifying a US Bradley or a 40k Leman Russ Battle Tank, the wiki pages for those are what you would link in Primary Source. In this case, you can leave Primary Source blank and just put the link you have at Primary Source up at Image Source.

Its small Ion resistance and blind spot should, I feel, be noted in Strength and Weakness respectively. [So, note that it is resistant to Ion attacks {but not overly so from what it says here} and that it has a blind spot {be sure to note where the blind spot is} and how someone might use that to their advantage.

  • Squadron Count: Average: 15

For Squadron, if you are sitting at 15, that is closer to Moderate then it is to Average. This thing is already straddling the line where I would say it needs to be debuffed a tiny bit [because outside of low armaments, everything is either average or high {Speed, Defense, Maneuver}]. Is there a particular reason you want/need 15? Because, if not, I'd rather it just be the standard 12.
