STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES:
Strengths:
- [+] Front Armor: Sloped for better protection, the front armor boasted increased effectiveness.
- [+] Side Armor: Sloped for better protection, the side armor boasted increased effectiveness.
- [-] Rear Armor: Weakest at the back, the rear armor was vulnerable to sufficiently powerful weapons. If struck, it could severely damage, or potentially destroy, the tank.
- [-] Continuous Track: Vulnerable to attack, were the continuous tracks struck by a powerful weapon, it could cripple the tank.
Intended to form the backbone of the Iron Army armor divisions, the Jegan was a versatile, if unremarkable, tank. It boasted well-rounded offensive capabilities. This included a heavy laser cannon, and dual thermal detonator missile launcher to engage armored adversaries. Additionally, a medium twin laser turret, and two anti-personnel laser cannons, offered the vehicle anti-infantry capabilities.
Designed to puncture enemy lines, the armor at the front, and side, of the Jegan was improved. Thicker, and sloped, the armor allowed the tank to withstand attacks that would other wise damage, or destroy, the vehicle.
However, the tank proved to have two glaring weaknesses: the rear armor, and most blatantly, its continuous track. Both were vulnerable to heavy weapons, and if struck directly, could potentially destroy, or cripple, the tank.
