The first vehicle designed under General Baelor's Iron Warriors Project. [SIZE=11.5pt]The IW-01A [/SIZE]Phaedra is designed to give The One Sith military anti-air capabilities. To accomplish this, the walker has been outfitted with a flak gun, and two homing missile octets. The flak gun gives the Phaedra frightening destructive capabilities. Shells are fired at enemy fighters, and explode, filling the area with deadly shrapnel. The homing missile octets allows it to fire numerous homing missiles, which lock-on and track their target.

The hexapedal design allows the Phaedra to set-up on just about any uneven terrain, and fire it's flak gun without losing balance. Unfortunately, the Phaedra is also quite slow. Its size and weight means that it can't move quickly, and must be transported to and from the battlefield. The Phaedra's main strengh is also it's greatest weakness. It has been designed from the ground up to excel at anti-air capabilities. As such, it cannot particularly defend itself from ground attacks. In dire situations, the flak gun can be used to destroy enemy armor, but it cannot stand against multiple armored units, or infantry units. It must rely on allied units for ground defense.

This is the only glaring issue I see. Its really heavy. For reference, the Abrams is 61 Metric Tons. I know its just a guess, but I would guess, 120-150 tons personally.
