LFG Ivy's Family: Seeking One Younger Sister and Two Questionable Parents

images

Looking for a few characters to play Ivy's immediate family, specifically her father, mother, and younger sister. The idea is that Ivy's family has become scattered over the years. Rather than everyone belonging to the same faction, I think a variety would be more interesting to play connect-the-dots with. A fractured family with conflicting loyalties opens the door for a lot of fun storytelling, awkward reunions and family drama. So any other faction but High Republic which Ivy has dibs on.

Some established information about Ivy and family:
  • She grew up on the planet Tepasi in what Ivy would describe as a fairly "normal" household with her parents and younger sister.
  • Ivy believes she is the only Force-sensitive member in the family (unless someone’s been hiding theirs the whole time). Her parents weren't openly hostile about her Force sensitivity, but they also never encouraged her to explore it, so those abilities mostly remained dormant until she left Tepasi when she was 30 years old.
  • Her mother worked as a scientist at the time and encouraged Ivy to pursue a similar career.
  • At age 30, a traumatic heartbreak pushed Ivy to leave Tepasi and seek out other Force users, eventually leading her toward the Jedi
  • After leaving home, Ivy legally changed her name. "Ivy Maro" is not her birth name. Her original first and last name are left open so they can be determined with whoever ends up playing her family.
  • Ivy describes herself as mostly Human with a small amount of Sephi-Arkanian ancestry on her father's side, though that could be entirely speculation for now. I'm very flexible on species since recessive genes leave plenty of room for interpretation.

Age-wise, Ivy is currently about 32 years old, her younger sister 20-30 years old, parents at least 50 years old.

I'm open to Ivy's parents being divorced or acting as common law spouses during the time Ivy and her sister were young. "No labels" on their parents’ relationship would fit the fractured theme very well.
