[+] Enlightenment - He is Philosopher, and through prolonged study has achieved a sense of enlightenment and self-realization. He has removed all limitations from his mind, and his positive potential has been completely and perfectly realized. He has spent years conquering his inner enemies, and has found his "True self". He has achieved a state of intuitive insight into the true essence beyond the world of appearances.
[+/-] Pacifism - He strongly believes that any violence, inlcuding war, is unjustifable, and all disputes should be settled by peaceful means. This stems, and is enhanced from his strong belief in The Living Force. He believes all living things are connected through this, and are attuned to other living beings around them. He heavily espouses a philosophy of "Living in the moment". This however, is not an ideal practiced everywhere, and can place him in harms way, and in near death experiences.
[+/-] Illusionist - He has only ever dedicated much time to one skill, and that was the Mind Trick ability. He is a pacifist, and this skill can allow him to reason, and end disputes in a non violent way. He believes this to be the one example of "Non-aggressive" tactics. He would never use this ability for personal gain, unless the greater good was a reason to overlook that restriction. He values all life, and so when utilizing this ability hes extrememly cautious so that he doesnt cause long term effects on the target. This power is usuless agaisnt those with an innate resistance to it, and it doesn't work on inorganics.
[+/-] Intense Connection to The Force - Being a H'drachi he has a naturally high propensity for Force-sensitivity. He can read the future through an energy field called "The Time-Stream". His deep connection to the force sees him physically age slower than he should. His sensitivity has drawbacks as he is susceptible to feeling the deaths, and pains of individual people who are strong in the force.
[-] Physically Frail/Old Age - From his Scholary pursuits, he has overlooked his physical disciplines and is thus not suited for physical combat. Though his connection to the force is strong, and hes also able to manipulate objects through it, theres only a limit. Due to his age, he is only able to lift over a ton, and nothing more, as it will put stress on his body.

BIOGRAPHY
Early Life
Like the majority of the Jedi Order's members of the era, Tao was most likely discovered by Jedi Recruiters, of The Acquistion Division to be gifted in the Force. He was taken from his guardians and brought to the academy in the Galactic City. At the temple, He was sorted inot a Jedi clan as an initiate, and began making his way through the Academy. Finding that he had a love for helping lesser creatures, he became a proponent of the Living Force, which he studied greatly in his off time. After a time Tao came to be accepted as a Padawan, where he discovered he yeared for studying the force, the galaxy, and wanted to interact with such. While apprenticed to a Jedi Master, the young Jedi spent over a month of time dedicated to only his scholary pursuits, he had a niche for finding creative ways of dealing with situations rather than resulting to using his lightsaber.
He Later passed his trials, and became a Jedi Knight, after which he felt that the Force was calling him to lead a nomadic life away from the Core. He decided to leave the Jedi Temple on Coruscant and refused to take a padawan, choosing instead to roam the galaxy wherever the force guided him. Contoversially, Tao came to be thought of as a Gray Jedi by some members of the Order for his frequent opposition to thie rdemands. He distanced himself more and more from the High Council, as he was in search of his purpose, and Fulfillment.
Joining The Jal Shey
For his love of studying the force from a purely intellectual perspective, his nomadic behaviours led him to the Jal Shey. He spent a many years studying the Living Force to a more higher degree. This coupled well with his want for improving the lives of all beings around him. The forsaking of the spiritual paths taken by the Jedi was a different twist on ways to study the force and saw him gain lots of knowledge on the different aspects of it. He spent a time studying the Needler Crabs of Jodaka, and the Akk dogs of Haruun Kal; the latter he wanted to see how the Living Force played a part in their ability to form bonds with their trainers. Around This time, the darkside had began to grow more potent. A trip Nam Chorios, to study the Force Nexus present there due to the omnipresence of the Tsils, resulted in the manifestation of his innate ability to see the future. It was here that he saw he still handt fullfilled his purpose, and left the ranks of the Jal Shey instead only allowing the Force to direct him to his next destination.
The Great Debate and Residence on Dantooine
At some point in his career, he had a run in with members of the Potentium. Tao found them slightly misguided. Memebers of the sect tried to sway him to their beliefs, by claiming that the lightside of the force was just, the Force itself, which was inherently good. They argued that the darkside was but a perversion of the force, and that the light and dark sides resided in the user and not the force itself. Their point was that any action, good or evil, could be committed without risk as long as the intent was not evil. Tao argued that they were simply practicing the Unifying Force theory.
Not to long after Tao had established himself a homestead on Dantooine. he built a farm, and menagerie there and would oocassionally encounter students who sought to learn his philosophies. He had developed a soup, which he used to teach. The taste would be determined through the balance of the force within the consumer.
He still keeps to his nomadic ways, travelling the galaxy and moving from one world to another as the currents of the force flowed.

Personality: The personality of Tao is much similar to that of a Hippie. He seeks to free himself from societal restrictions, and choose his own way. At one point he questioned authority, and distanced himself from it. He can be associated with Altruism, and mysticism, and non-violence. His view of the Living force sees him to be a compassionate, spiritual, and insightful individual. His pacifism stems from his love of all things, and his forgiveness for those who might have done wrong.
- Tao's name was adapted from "Tao" -The name of the oriental philosophical system. Very similar to his beliefs; emphasizing living in harmony with the Tao, which means "Way" , "Path".
- His beliefs stem from different types of Asian Religions: Hinduism, Jainism, Zoroastrianism, and Buddhism
- Was orginially intended to be a Jedi Artisan, though now those skills have become one of his past times.
- He does not carry a lightsaber, no weapons at all. The whereabouts of his lightsaber are unknown.
