While the Holoradio played in the background, Jax just finished drawing a straight line across the training room. The Jedi Master gazed upon his work a smile slowly formed on his face. The line while simple would serve as today's lesson. The last Lightsaber lesson he did was successful despite the fact that he was teaching a very controversial style. Jax maintained that the Jedi must be prepared to fight the Sith. From a Padawan to even a Jedi Master, even in times of peace, a Jedi has to be as sharp as possible. It was better to know and not need than to need but not know.
And in this time of extraordinary crisis with many of the Jedi scattered, the Jedi Order of the High Republic needs to stand tall. Now that he was finished, Jax activated his Lightsaber, the hum of the blade briefly overtaking the song playing on the Holoradio. He approached the line making sure that the balls of his feet were on the line. He wished that he practiced before he made this lesson plan but Jax knew the Makashi form by heart. It's just that it's been a long time since he last used the form.
"Hopefully people come," Jax said getting into a stance and started to perform Makashi flourish.
