It's Going Down, I'm Yelling Timber (Dalansa)

Dav Scorpio

Guest
Dav was sitting in a common bar on tatooine, sipping a glass of corellian ale, the most common in the galaxy. He was on his first glass, and was looking for a fight. Any force user would do, at least they provided a challenge. It was past sunset, and the cantina was starting to get louder, the drunker people got. Dav just stuck to his one glass of ale, for being drunk in a fight wasn't good.

The form of an Offshoot stepping in was a rare one, even for a place where anything went. As such, she got a few glances as she came in. Noting each one, and turning a glare to those who gave a second one, she came up to the counter and ordered an ale. As he handed it to her, one of the patrons grabbed at her. Her hand instantly flew into his throat. He staggered back, dazed. She stalked off to a corner, sipping her drink and seeming to fume. She hated this planet.

Dav saw an offshoot walk into the bar, surprised as he hadn't seen one before. He wasn't aware that he was staring at her. Dav could tell that she was force sensitive, he could almost smell the dark side radiating off of her. Maybe a sith would be fun to fight... he thought

She could feel [member="Dav Scorpio"] watching, a look up only confirmed that. She met his stare with a dark look only one with enough scars to choke a bantha could muster. That anger, the hatred, barely held back by her mental safeguards, was straining to attack him. To strike him down for it. She was here to find and kill an old enemy, but they were nowhere to be found. She was angry. They had killed him. They would pay. They would all pay.

The girl he was absentmindedly staring at glared at him. Dav was surprised. Maybe she was the one who wanted to fight. He Projected the thought "Meet me outside" into her head and got up, walking out the back door to the speeder parking lot. Perhaps this would be fun, he thought as he drew his sword and extended the blade.

The Offshoot flinched as [member="Dav Scorpio"] ran the thought through her head. The neighbouring through her was enough to send her stalking out. Some of the men laughed, and each received a glare, until one got a blaster to the arm. She headed back out the door, saw the man standing there, and pulled her own blades out. The zhaboka was he pride, the simplicity of it was the greatest strength, and the familiar grip was comforting. But the anger, the flame inside of her, was denying her that comfort. And all she could do was ready herself for his inevitable assault.

Dav unclipped his helmet from his belt and put it on. "Well hello there, sith. Nice of you to join me." He could feel the rage eminating from her. He wanted to get her as mad as possible so he could use it against her. Dav knew that she wasn't a sith, but being mistaken for one might intensify her anger. He suddenly lunged at her, swinging his vibroblade down in a vertical chopping motion.

Dalansa raised her weapon, suddenly calmed. This was her joy. Her peace. In the battle. She paired his chop, as she dodged to the side. Power duelists, as a whole, were slower, and tended to overcommit. Slipping out of reach, she sent her own taunt. "How could I turn down showing a wretch his place?" A stroke to his side, followed by another to his groin. She was going to try and drive him back away from doorway.

Dav blocked each blow, standing his ground. He force pushed her and grabbed the vibroshield off of his back, it humming to life. It wasn't so much of a shield now as it was a cutting weapon. If he could get the sharp angles on the front to hit her, it would slice like a sword. He took up a defensive stance, waiting for her to strike. "If you can best me, do so. But your form is sloppy."
