Ithorian Remnant

[member="Weilar Tarren"]

The jedi healer heard something, there was an Ithorian padawan and as she stood there with a small look in the medical bay. She was standing under the restrictive lights while her pale skin, short black hair and there was the sound of the medical droids. Cathbodua had been interested in checking up on her patient Kei who was still recovering after Ruusan from his injuries, if anything the limp might seem impressive but if it had been a substandard healer or someone who didn't understand the value in using proper technology to save someone.

She had worked with Kei's leg to preserve it in the field using the force and technology whcih she knew some of them didn't like before she was walking and putting on her gear with a small look on her face. Her bodysuit was designed for her body to be safe when she was leaving it for the padawan to come and find her. In memory of Boolon she could work with him and while she didn't agree with the Ithorian she could at least respect his message of peace.. just you know she preferred his message while also teaching people instead of just expecting them to know how to do things like someone else.

The young Ithorian padawan was honored that he had been assigned to master Cathbodua, as he admired another jedi who appreciated the force healing methods. Even though Weilar didn't fully understand the true powers of force healing, and only knew a fraction of what it was truly capable of, he thought it was the jedi's most remarkable power. He did find it strange though to combine force healing with technology since he preferred to keep those two apart.

Weilar went to meet Cathbodua so his training as a padawan finally could begin. But on the way he took a quick stop at his chamber to pick up some gear he would probably need for later. In the room stood a long table made out of stone with a red carpet on top, on the table lid a golden lightsaber with a few wood parts, and a holocom. The Ithorian picked up the holocom, and put the lightsaber in his belt. He then headed out to find master Cathbodua who stood out in the training grounds. Silently Weilar walked up to her, he put his hands together and greeted her ''Greetings master''

Standing there in the bodysuit as she left the hood down so her face mask was there to see. The purple and black with blue veins of force energy to keep her sickness under control. "Welcome." The jedi kngiht remained standing there as she had her lightwhip on her hip with a nod of her head when she secured the second hilt on her thigh in a clasp while giving it a moment. Her hand gave a moment with attention on some of the bigger thing in the room while leading the way down into the sub-basement of the temple. her training room and medical bay were made so she could not have her skin burn and blister from the pain. "The sub-basement is where you can train and meet me, it isn't the best compared to some but it is superior in many more ways for teaching you how to build your stamina and heal."

''That sounds reasonable, as i always say, practice over quality any day'' they continued walking until they entered her training room deep below the temple. Even though he didn't believe that science, and machines could do any good to a living creature, he was still fascinated by the medical facilities in the room. The Ithorian could sense all the previous apprentices who had been here before him. He bowed down to Cathbodua as a sign of respect, it wasn't really necessary, but he liked the traditional ways. ''I've been looking forward to meet you, the other masters said you would be a good match for me'' Weilar raised his head while waiting for instructions.

A good match.... hmm she turned around looking at him as the room was plain and simple at first, she closed the doors and the lights changed with a filter when she raised an eyebrow under the mask. Slowly taking it off while she looked at him. Very pale skin that had even whiter scars across it from burns and blisters. Eyes that never really had seen the sun but had small membranes growing over the black pools. Her hair was short just barely coming out of her scalp as it was very fine. Gaunt features but she was healthy and muscled compared to many of them but her features were sharp when she finally spoke. THe small black patches that were healing crystals for the burns she got from ruusan when the Sanctum were there. "A good match, an interesting case. I am generall sent the problem padawans. My moniker that has been given to me is the new Dark lady."

''I can assure you that i know my place, and that i'm very disciplined'' Weilar spend a few seconds trying to analyze the being standing right in front of him. ''You have a few human like features, but yet you don't seem human at all. What species do you come from?'' The Ithorian's mouth openings struggled to pronounce the words correctly as he went through the sentence. It sounded a bit bumpy here, and there, but for the most part it was pretty understandable for human standards. While he speaked the complex skin fascinated him since he had never seen something like this before. He looked her in the eyes and waited for answers.

"Oh I assure you I am human, my father was an atrisian slave and my mother was a Hapen noble. Just normal for their species except they were both carriers unknowingly for genetic defects that Hapens dislike in their children. So the jedi took me in to prevent my mother from abandoning or smothering me in my sleep. Hapens do not like flaws in themselves and a child is a reflection of you so." she traile dit off a little while walking and remained still for a moment picking at one of the crystals. "So to keep me alive after they saved me I needed to be confined and wear a bodysuit designed to protect me. Force crystals to heal my body where it could but I am dependent on technology to keep my sight, to keep my skin from blistering under anything but the special filtered lights of my medical bays or training room." It was more then she generally shared about herself but one fo the few who she had met and even dare she say respected within the order was Boolon Murr a talented Ithorian healer but he couldn't help her condition with just the force. It was why she was a trained doctor as well as skilled in the healing arts.

Trying to comprehend what he just heard, Weilar put a lot of his energy into his next sentence to make it as understandable as possible. ''I guess you owe the order everything for what they did for you. I myself was raised by the jedis so i understand. Even though i can't say i understand your condition since it sounds rather critical having to depend on a bodysuit, and crystals to keep you alive. And i suppose the suit is specially designed so you can breathe proper in there? I didn't know Ithorians also reached the status of doctors out in this galaxy. But i don't know much about things outside of this planet'' Weilar's throat was dried out from saying such a long sentence that he wasn't used to.

he looked at him remaining at the ready and providing a hand to point to the wall. "There is water should you need it, training in this room is not like many work with." She was prepared for anything and worked with it getting a small look on her face while she moved back to stand there. "However teaching the healing arts requires a lot of work and while I find most healers in the order to be ineffective. Telling how everything is rose colored or good while there are nasty things in the galaxy. It also gives a small comfort to me to know that at least my students who learn to heal through practical terms that really will let you experience it instead of me telling you what you are supposed to feel." She waited for a moment and then remained there as her eyes remained on the padawan before she grabbed her finger and jerked it with a snap. Something less audible and more common. It was easy to say how to heal, it was another thing entirely to teach them how to heal actual injuries.

''Yeah i agree on that. I've personally not focused on the force healing techniques, but i do know enough to heal certain types of injuries. While i studied the ancient ways of force healing a fellow padawan at that time got back from a task on ryloth, she was very injured from an accident that had happened so i practiced what i had learned on her. It worked well, but i wasn't able to fully heal the injury. I simply speeded up the process of it so it would lasted a few weeks less'' Weilar took Cathbodua's offer about water, he walked over and picked up a small glass. He used the water to clear his mouth openings, and make him feel much more comfortable. ''Excuse me, but i have to something that can clear my throat every now and then. Or else i wouldn't be able to pronounce any words that your kind can understand. I'm ready to begin the training master''

She listened to him and remained neutral in her expression while she was holding her hand up and out for him to work on while presenting the broken finger she had popped out of place standing at an awkward angle with her hand. She was remaining with some of her attention on him before she was going over a few of the things. She was letting the force energies pour out while watching him and speaking with her eyes raising up a little. "Start with this and then we shall move up to different things to work with." She was leaving some of her attention on the bigger things around them with the room sealed and the training regiment for it was made to teach and work out ones stamina.

Weilar got a minor shock for a little moment ''It's been over a year since the last time i tried to use force healing in practice, but i won't disappoint you'' all his energy on Cathbodua's hand while he continuously made all sorts of different movements with his own hands. A white yellow light slightly started glowing around the damaged hand, it was a symptom that it was working. Weilar closed his eyes, took a deep breath in, and started to transform the damage. The white yellow light slowly started to disappear as Weilar pushed his hands forward in an attempt to heal the broken finger. It worked out just as he wanted it to, but it drained the Ithorian for power in a few moments. ''I think that should do the trick''

She was standing there while he was working on her hand with a nod of her head, feeling the force energies before she breathed in letting her hand clench closed with a nod of her head. "It is well enough." She found it was usually the first time that they didn't do great but she was skilled and after awhile healing became very easy. her bodysuit functioning to make her healing abilities reach levels few others could as it was weaved with healing crystals of fire in the armor for bringing back massive amounts of people hurt on battlefields. Worked with Kei for saving him and she saw little need beyond that but did notice the padawans endurance and stamina were about as strong as tissue paper. "We are going to have to work on your stamina."

''It's always wise to try to improve'' Weilar made some minor body language while he was talking. ''Did you have anything specific in mind master?'' he asked with a humble sound to his voice, prepared to start his more relevant training in a jedi's point of view, he took out his lightsaber and held onto it with a tight grip. His bright golden weapon shined through the room as he picked it out of his belt. he laid his hands on his enormous hood to take it down to pay more attention while being teached. ''I'm ready''

She looked at him providing a small look before she spoke. "This training room is made to build endurance in anyone within it." She back up a little to the ring of the room touching the controls. "It is a small place but by increasing the gravity it can teach a person to breathe and focus." She had some of her attention on a few of the bigger things opening the controls. "How high have you worked with increased gravity?" She was curious as her and Jericho worked in their rooms wanting to work with the bigger things. Their training at four hundred times gravity and higher as they had pushed it to one thousand while running around in the room and training themselves.

@[member='Cathbodua']

Surprised by the thrilling new task Weilar looked at his master with a rather strange look. ''I have never worked with either low gravity or increased gravity before. I didn't even know that some masters used this type of thing for training purposes. I'm not too familiar with this whole gravity concept, but as far as i'm aware you'll make our bodies feel heavier by increasing it right? So the tasks become more difficult?'' It was a bit of an odd situation for him to get thrown into, but he gladly did it if it would help him improve as a jedi. Weilar placed himself in the center of the room, prepared to face his challenge.

[member="Weilar Tarren"]

"yes the more gravity the more your body works to both protect itself and to preform tasks. For my padawan it is mandatory that they function in their tasks at the bare minimum of twenty times normal gravity. THe extra weight of their clothing and even their own bodies teaches them how to function and move." She crossed her arms increasing the gravity a little more. "My regiment is five hundred times currently for dodging and moving around to preform training methods. It gives me what some said was an unnatural level of endurance and physical strength. It also is useful for teach the skills of the force as you have to be able to maintain the techniques to make sure your bodies do not tire while healing."

''I see'' The Ithorian tried to move his hand upward, and looked at it ''Hmmm i can't really feel anything yet. But i suppose it's going to get tougher'' Weilar said while he tried to move around for a little bit to test the first increase of the room's gravity. He turned on his lightsaber and tried to slowly swing it forward and backward to see if it had any effect on that. ''Hmm my lightsaber feels heavier, like it was made out of some greater metal or something like that'' He turned off the lightsaber while still holding a tight grip onto it.

[member="Weilar Tarren"]

She offered a look at him increasing the gravity a little more while the outer ring remained white with the light and the inner ring showed some red lights to mark the edge of the gravity field. She could also see the dangerous portions of it that were on the floor where she and other had fallen impacting and leaving dents as well as streaks of blood for herself. The jedi knight had trained and faced the real pain few could really meet with before she turned it to five times normal gravity. "You shall experience it in time, the heavier the equipment you use the more it will come down. Lightsabers and clothing are designed to be lightweight so you do not tire swinging them normally."

At first Weilar got down on his knees do to the quick change of gravity. It was incredibly hard for him to get back up, but he managed to do so when he focused all his weight to his legs and pushed up. Now standing up he did slow movements like he was almost sneaking towards something like a robber. A small amount of sweat dripped down from his forehead, and down to his chest. Never had the padawan experienced so much pressure on his entire body, it was almost unreal that a machine could make him so defenseless. ''This sure is a challenge i must say. Have you ever considered using this to neutralize enemies? I'm sure it would be very useful to avoid conflicts. As long as the user is experienced of course''
