Intent: To flesh out an obscure little bit of canon, because #ithorians
Development Thread: None
Manufacturer: Ithorian Mercantile
Model: Ithorian Eraladium Talisman
Affiliation: Ithorians. Can be used by any Force-sensitive Ithorian PC (or anyone who takes one or is given one).
Modularity: No
Production: Semi-Unique
Material: Eraladium, medical-grade duraplast

Strengths:
  • Provides quite a decent boost to the finesse of one's Force use
  • Especially good for anything medical or plant-related
Weaknesses:
  • Most effective for sustained Force use rather than in-the-moment techniques; don't expect much of a boost to Force Push, but it'll amp up healing rituals pretty well
  • Most effective when held in the hand, though it'll still give a decent benefit if worn as a necklace or strapped to the forearm
  • Most effective when used by Ithorians

Description: Ithorian Eraladium Talismans are used in Ithorian trading houses' medical efforts. Using ancient arts of their species' unique Force tradition, Ithorian priest-craftspeople carve eraladium crystal into traditional Force focuses. The resulting talismans, while not exactly holy or venerated, are treated with respect and rarely sold. Ithorian Eraladium talismans are especially attuned toward sustained Force use (such as ongoing rituals), with a focus on matters related to healing and plant care. At their best (e.g. a sustained healing ritual undertaken by at least one seasoned Ithorian priest-healer), all else being equal, Ithorian Eraladium talismans can be nearly as effective as major healing artifacts like the Healing Crystals of Fire or the Ankarres Sapphire. In most other circumstances, an Ithorian Eraladium talisman has a relatively minor effect, and is often considered an unimpressive Force trinket.
