It Comes with a Sword [Open to One Sith]

Normally these things would have been carried out at the academy on Glee Anselm, that's where Kissai Gorja was most comfortable, among his ritual items and robes. However, this knighting was a little different. Brigadier General [member='Konrad von Grimmelshausen'] had a distinguished service career, impressive indeed in campaign ribbons and accolades. He also just so happened to be force sensitive and his training had gotten him acknowledged for his dedication to the Sith cause. The word had come down, he was to be knighted, at once, and the Kissai was being sent to do it.

So here Gorja was, on Coruscant, the polished Sith sword in a fine black leather scabbard. The blade itself was a finely crafted weapon, but the presentation was ceremonial only. The weapon had not been augmented, not yet anyways. Sorcery tended to be an advanced lesson, so should the knight wish to bewitch or enchant his blade with his own flair for the dark side later on, they could take the initiative and do so.

The parade grounds were busy this day, the dais for the ceremony had been erected on the nearest end to the temple proper, and the small band of dignitaries who desperately clung to the Eye, Wrath, Voices, and Hands of the Dark Lord milled around, waiting for something to do, or someone important to come kick off the festivities.

Sinistra had been on world now for a few weeks. While she initially intended to keep her apprentices separated and unaware of each other, she had found herself increasingly busy with matters of training and education. Namely, someone at the One Sith Intelligence Bureau had discovered that Sinistra was so successful in part because she had trained nearly every agent in her stable. They were deadly, efficient, loyal, and cunning. Someone thought that warranted a promotion out of the field. Sinistra would have rather throat punched them.

She had been arguing against it the first couple weeks. She had asked for a temporary transfer. They had extended it. And done so again. It was becoming clear to her now that she would likely not step back in the field for a good long time, and unless she was prepared to murder the whole of the OSI directors, it was pointless to continue her pushing. They could burn her out of spite and there would be no coming back from that.

So she pulled all her apprentices together and started to pay very close attention to what was going on around the temple on Coruscant. Everything. Even the ceremony of moving an acolyte to a knight.

You learned the damnedest things about people when they didn't know you were watching.

A Stardestroyer, on permanent loan from the One Sith docked at the bay. A ship was a sign of a man's power - the more impressive the ship was, the more impressive its owner must have been. It was no surprise when Konrad took one of the best Stardestroyers from the One Sith armoury as his personal transport to inspire awe within his subordinates and a sense of fear within his enemies. Konrad, being a man of the Army first and foremost, was dressed in his ceremonial uniform. It was only appropriate as the Army was what his life revolved around since her death pushed him into arms of the One Sith.

Followed by a small group of his more respected soldiers who he had brought with him as a further display of his power, they marched the location where the Knighting was to take place. Konrad felt neither excitement nor nervousness. It was something he had become accustomed to. This was just another promotion to improve his status.

However, although the General felt apathetic towards the promotion, his soldiers were quite excited. They had never been to a Knighting before, nor had they even been somewhere where so many Sith would be gathered. Perhaps, they may be able to catch glimpses of Sith Lords and Knights they had only heard of.

The soldiers' excitement increased the closer they got to the location. What Sith name was their Brigadier General was going to take up? They could not help but wonder. Darth Dominous? Darth Necrolosis? They were excited to hear his new title to brag about serving under a Knight of the One Sith.

The soldiers obediently followed behind Konrad as he went to greet Gorja as they arrived the dais near the temple.
