Strengths:
  • Automated Hyperjump - Instead of plotting a course to wherever one may want to go, they could instead employ the automated hyper-plotting system. Utilizing the latest star charts and maps and other assets available to the ship, the Navigation Computer will generate a plotted course to the desired location. Even pitstops can be made, or automated routes can be plotted, such as for trade ships visiting the same places over and over, all that would be needed is to activate the navi-computer and you're back on track. You can even time when you want to arrive at your destination
  • Improved Emergency Hyperjump - One can set systems that are hostile, or routes they don't even want to take. Don't like the faster route? is the Hyperlane longer but better on fuel? No problem, all these settings can be personalized
  • Sensitivity - Has an asteroid or comet moved into the direction of your plotted course? Maybe debris from a destroyed vessel? No problem. It might take you off course, but the Hyper-DJ, with assistance from the Navi-Computer, can reroute your course in mid-hyperjump.
Weaknesses:
  • Sensitivity - The Navi-Computer can not detect, nor ascertain, what a hostile is. If a system has become hostile, or a fleet is located in the area, the Navi-Computer will not be able to detect them. However, it can detect gravity wells, which is a required system to protect it from crashing into planets or grazing their atmosphere which could cause numerous failures and disasters.
  • Ion Susceptible - This system has no protection against EMP or Ion weapons

The ISY (I See You) Navigation System would go on to become the Standard for Kuat Drive Yards Navi Computer Systems. Tying in with its Hyper-DJ, it had numerous capabilities almost new to the galaxy at large. It very well could become a prize system of military use or civilian use, and perhaps, even criminal use. Able to evade hostiles in a pinch, or to make short, strategic jumps to move them out of the way of debris, asteroids, weapons fire, or lock on weapons. Of course, it could still be used like any other navigation system; one can plot a course as they have always done and engage their hyperdrive. However, it seemed fit for how far the galactic civilization had come from its devastating events, and its technological advances, it could use an improved navi-system that could be used by anyone; Military, Civilian, or Smuggler. Not that KDY supports criminal acts, but it's a versatile product.

This seems like an upgraded navi computer and in general i'm okay with it.

Pairing this with your other device might have some consequences that will have to be balanced together in later submissions.
