Elora took a step forward when suddenly a pendulum blade that hadn't been there before swung down, nearly taking off her leg, followed by a row of more axe-shaped blades swinging back and forth. Her heart was thumping, but she decided to move forward. She closed her eyes, then opened them, calm flowing through her... then with both hands flung a Force-Push at the first pendulum, but the effect was not as she expected. It struck the axe-blade like a gong and sent it flying, now moving faster than before. So fast, she doubted she could get past it. A miscalculation on her part... but she didn't panic. Instead she held onto her concentration and focused on the blade. Slowly, the speed began to change and she was able to stop it completely until it hung right in front of her. She reached out and placed her hand upon it, swung a leg over and climbed to the other side of the narrow, shaky plank.
She held onto the blade with her fingertips to steady herself, and reached out to slow the next one. Pacing herself. By the time she'd passed them all and had reached the rope ladder on the other side, she was breathing heavily from the exertion of the Force - the most she had ever done in a single session. The ladder came loose and slipped down into the abyss. Elora stood in shock, then looked up at the platform she had to reach. Clearly she had been supposed to trust the Force and more conventionally dodge them, then Force-Jump up to the platform.
She sighed deeply and closed her eyes. Then, she crouched, and then launched herself upwards. Her fingertips scrabbled along the stone, just barely catching the edge as her momentum drained. She clutched with her fingertips, then climbed the same way she had before - with pure strength and a dependance on her own lightweight spindly body. She threw a leg up first and then used all her strength to pull herself to the top, where she now stood on a single round platform. More round platforms of varying height spanned yet another chasm, but the jump up told her that - no matter how far the drop had been before - she would not survive a fall from this height.
