Isotope Trithium Zero

pebbles3.jpg

"At long last...the power of the sun...a reactor that never runs out....the literal equation to zero point energy....in the palm of my hand. The galaxy can praise to never have their cities go dark...the galaxy can fear it for the destruction it can rain upon them. The galaxy...will know true...limitless...power.

OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
PRODUCTION INFORMATION
PHYSICAL SPECIFICATIONS
  • Classification: Harmless Radioactive Alloy
  • Weight: Weightless
  • Color: Blackish Grey
  • Resistances:
    • Energy (And other Blaster type weapons): Very Low
    • Kinetic: Low
    • Lightsabers: Very Low
    • Electrical: Very High
    • Heat/Cold: Very High
    • Sonic: Very Low
    • Radiation: Extreme
SPECIAL FEATURES
  • A nearly infinite supply of energy from the combination of materials to produce Zero Point Energy. Starting from a gram, it can power a datapad or a blaster. To a pound, it can power a suit of armor, a fourth degree droid or even a generator. The heavier and larger the Isotope Trithium Zero is, the more it can power till it can power an entire city with a reactor dedicated to the city itself, the size of a small freighter.
  • Once turned on, it turns into a small spiraling vortex that creates the energy from the vortex itself in a radiation tempered glass container, focused entirely on the producing limitless energy. Upon turning off, the vortex will slow down before returning back to its stable state, dropping into a metal ball.
STRENGTHS
  • Infinite Power: A literal infinite supply of power, never runs out and is always in motion to create power.
  • Extremely Light Weight: Its weight is so easy to manage that it can quite literally be hidden and carried in plain sight without much worry.
WEAKNESSES
  • Highly Explosive, Highly Reactive: Unpowered it simply breaks and is destroyed easily without fault. Powered however while energy is moving through it, can cause a chain reaction from the size. A gram will be a small thermal detonator, a pound would be a rocket strike and the one for the city, would turn into a hydrogen bomb. When energy passes through it while producing energy, it super charges it and while the batteries can contain some of it, it can just as easily overload it and cause the vortex to start collapsing. There are safety measures for all of them but it only gives from mere seconds to several minutes depending on the size and how much energy been shoved into them. In other words...if shot while powered, run.
  • Needs Something to Power It: It is not easy to turn on, it needs a dedicated source of electrical power to run through it. It needs a proper glass container that is tempered against radiation.
  • Very Fragile: It can be destroyed rather easily, to the point it is considered brittle. Almost anything can break it until it is turned on to be energy and can be easily triggered to be destroyed if not careful.
  • Needs a Battery Source: It needs a place to keep storing energy when not in use. If it does not have a proper battery to keep pushing the near infinite energy it keeps producing at the rate it has, it will start to overload. For what happens there, please read Highly Explosive, Highly Reactive above.
DESCRIPTION
The idea where this came from, came from over eight hundred years ago from the Galactic Empire on Underwater Zeta Zero Nine Base, a mostly forgotten about base except in current times. When the Expedition going into the base was almost a disaster, Angelus Hafey had successfully acquired and then refined the formula for Zero Point Energy. With the three main ingredients now known, he named it Isotope Trithium Zero. Isotope for Isotope 5, Trithium being a mixture of Tritium and Zinethium with Zero meaning the first type of tests.

In various testing, it was not ever going to match what he had found in the base so long ago. Tritium was one of the rarest resources in the galaxy, bar none and harvesting it was indeed a large challenge. To create even one for a Star Destroyer would require over ten pounds of the material, requiring a mining company for a full month to harvest from one dying star to create one of that size. Fortunately, with the age of space travel and trade, there was ways to achieve that amount of time but it was indeed costly, the only reason why it would not see such widespread use.

One of the most problematic areas however was turning it off during power testing. While they finally achieved it, they also learned how volatile it would become rather quickly. On a simple corvette test, it turned into a small nuclear bomb and destroyed the entire vessel along with compliment. They found out that only a combination of magnets and quick freezing agents were the only thing that kept it from exploding violently in a matter of seconds. This created a safety measure that would most likely save or perhaps be able to turn off the machine in case of emergencies but it would still need to drain the power quickly. While this can work for cities, most other things it would not.

Even with all the horror of information they could be unleashing, they decided to market the product for those wishing to try it and experience true, limitless energy. Angel Arms expects the product to be sold out for literal weeks at a time though it only wonders if anyone will truly use it for its first purpose. Power.
