OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
Intent: Clarifying the nature of the Sephi homeworld and its' history within Chaos, this is an attempt to synthesize the Canon Isobe and Legends Thustra with the latter treated as a separate planet and Sephi Colony in the Submission rather than the Sephi Homeworld so as not to invalidate its’ existence in legends while acknowledging Canon primacy.

System Features:
 • Altus: Altus is a large crater-covered moon and Isobe only natural satellite, its’ namesake is an ancient Sephi King who allegedly rallied the Sephi during a time of crisis and helped bring the race into one cohesive society after a long period of civil war and strife. The moon is looked as being Isobe’s guardian within Sephi poetry and fiction literature.
 • Primoris: Primoris is the third planet from Solaria and a Sephi Colony governed from Isobe it became a wealthy world within its’ own right, it was their last interstellar colony. Trade between Isobe and Primoris usually involves metal Ores with the latter importing Metal Ores and Glass from the former to make masterwork products of exquisite quality and beauty. The world has two natural satellites which are usually referred to as “The Twin Sisters”.
 • Solaria: The Galactic Basic Standard name for the Main Sequence Star that Isobe orbits around at the centre of the Thustra system, it is named after the Goddess of Life from Sephi mythology who according to legend gave life to Isobe when the universe was still young.
 • Thustra: Thustra is the fourth planet within the Thustra system and so-named for its’ prominence with foreign interstellar cartographers and historians incorrectly citing it as the Sephi’s homeworld and thereby confusing Isobe and Thustra in their records. Thustra is resource-rich and a manufacturing power-house with beauty rivalling Isobe itself, its’ industries focus heavily on taking the resources from Isobe and producing everything from Household Goods, Flyers and weapons for the Guardians or Royal Prosecution. Thustra as a result of its’ industrial focus is highly popular with the Craftsmen, Engineers and Miners. Hosting several private and state manufacturing and resource extraction businesses alongside education facilities dedicated to architecture, construction and engineering.

Althea
Source (x)
Althea is the coastal Capital City of Isobe and home to the most prestigious political, economic and educational institutions within the Thustra System bordering a glistening sea on one side and mountains on the other it is characterized by eleven different suspension and cantilever bridges spanning over a river mouth that passes through the city each named after a passed and great Sephi Monarch. The City itself was named after the Daughter of King Hallux who ruled Isobe during the days of Sheev Palpatine's Galactic Empire, Althea was held dear by the Sephi and passed with great mourning before she could ascend to the Throne and their Capital was thus re-named in her honour. Althea's ancient structures are characterized by smooth sandstone and marble hewed from Isobe's many quarries giving them a dazzling quality while the modern structures are largely constructed from Durasteel and Titanium acting as a living testament to the decades honed skill of the Sephi Craftsmen and Engineers who constructed and continue to maintain the city.

Shimmering Spire
Source (x)
The Shimmering Spire is the most beautiful structure on the entirety of Isobe's surface, the spire itself is placed within a fortified keep with its' own independent shield generator with a large standing garrison of the Royal Prosecution's Justicars. Here the Royal Council convenes close to the apex of a three-hundred meter tall spire designed to represent a pillar rising up and out of the planet's crush as a testament to the ruling Monarch's prestige and power. The ancient keep is the resident address for the Royal Family who the luxurious structure houses proudly, this same keep has stood for more than one-thousand years and over-time grown all the more Grand. The Shimmering Spire's throne room itself possesses an exciting and stunning view of Isobe's Capital Althea. The Magisterium or "Royal Council" As it is colloquially known by outsiders additionally convenes here as the upper house of the Sephi's legislature for the Monarch's convenience.

Convocation of Crystal
Source (x)
Named after the Tynzo Crystals buried within the beautiful marble columns of this structure the Crystal Convocation is Isobe's legislative centre, it's here that motions and policy impacting the whole planet and indeed the greater Thustra System is decided. The Convocation Chamber is shaped as a sphere much like the ancient Galactic Republic's Senate with the Monarch and the Royal Council at the centre of a room on a raised dais where the Master Builder acts in a role analogous in Republics and Democracies to the house's speaker, the Convocation of Crystal is set in a great multi-story structure shaped as a rotunda with a high ceiling and garden that engulfs it with the grounds and interior constantly patrolled by armed Justicars of the Royal Prosecution who safeguard the Sephi Political process and their beloved Monarch's person.

 • Succession Day: Commemorates the Battle of the Thustra System which saw the Sephi succeed from the Galactic Republic Cira ~20 BBY, is marked by a solemn mood and mourning for the wise King Alaric who passed during the battle.

Culture: The Sephi are an exorbitantly wealthy species with long-lives and even longer family histories, historically the Sephi have held a close relationship with the Jedi Order during the days of the Old Republic approximately nine-hundred years ago prior to the Galactic Empire’s Rise. Sephi are a largely peaceful race with military personnel considered to be at the lowest social level of society because of their pre-occupation with violence which is considered by many to be at odds with their belief it is their responsibility to maintain system peace and stability which stems from their religious belief that aligns closely with the traditional views and practices of the Jedi. Despite their disdain for violence and the employment of martial forces, pious and brilliant Sephi warriors or soldiers are celebrated appropriately as noble heroes. The Sephi are a spiritual people and believe somewhat arrogantly that its’ Sephi responsibility to shelter those in-need and uphold peace wherever they can. Within the Thustra System and wider Sumitra Sector they often act as mediators in negotiation between local powers and have successfully seen to the end of more than one economic or political conflict, they’re reputed as peacemakers and peacekeepers although when engaging in conflict the Sephi's Guardians historically exhibit zeal and fanatacism which will can lead them to employ suicide tactics out of an extreme conviction in the righteousness of self-sacrifice. Their society has organised into a group of different Rates or “Castes” as its often translated, with a Sephi’s Caste being dictated by a combination of their family ties, education and employment.

 • King/Queen of Isobe, Thustra and Primoris – The Sephi ruling Monarch and head of its’ Royal Family who reserves although seldom exercises their dictatorial levels of authority and power. As A Semi-Constitutional Monarchy the individual thus crowned actively participates in Isoban economic and political life actively contributing to government policy where they deem it necessary or desired. There is no male or female preference in succession although there is a penultimate preference for the eldest child, making the eldest Prince or Princess of the current ruling Monarch the heir apparent.
 • Prince/Princess of Isobe, Thustra and Primoris – Children of the current ruling Monarch in accordance with the hereditary passing of power assume the title of “Prince” or “Princess” accordingly, unlike their parent these individuals do not wield any authority over Government policy or legislation although the Royal Prosecution's Justicars are responsible for their security. The Heir Apparent possess the special title of “Crown Prince/Princess” to denote their status as eldest amongst their siblings and therefore assumed ascension to the Throne upon the current Monarch’s death or abdication.
 • Duke/Duchess of [Castle/City/Estate/Town/House] – Dukes and Duchesses is a hereditary appointed title bequeathed exclusively by the Monarch bestowed as recognition for meritorious civil achievements and/or military service to the Crown. These individuals are entitled to a seat within the Convocation of Crystal, Isobe’s legislative house where they may elect to take part in Sephi politics.
 • Count/Countess of [Castle/City/Estate/House/Town] - Count & Countess is a hereditary Sephi title awarded by the Sephi Monarch and entitles the bearer to a seat within the Convocation of Crystal where bills are introduced and heard. The title is earned through highly distinguished civil accomplishment or military service.
 • Baron/Baroness of [Castle/City/Estate/House/Town] - Among the lower hereditary 'Noble' titles of Isobe are the Barons and Baronesses and unlike the higher ranks doesn't guarantee political representation within the Senate or Assembly, this title is awarded by the Monarch for civil accomplishment or military service that is distinguished.
 • Baronet/Baronetess of [Castle/City/Estate/House/Town] - Baronet is a noble Sephi Hereditary title that is appointed to Citizens of Isobe for civil or military accomplishments or achievements that are worthy of note.

The Highest social echelon of Sephi society are the Craftsmen Caste who are responsible for constructing their exquisite technology and unique architecture, Sephi treat construction and their trades much like an artist might regard a painting ever working to improve and achieve what they perceive as ‘perfection’ often with a hedonistic obsession. Politically the Craftsman Guilds and their Members are the most powerful individuals outside of Royalty or the Nobility, and because of their numerical supremacy over the former, they are the Defacto ruling social rate in co-operation with the landed Nobility above them and Miners beneath. The Craftsmen Caste are widely considered to be made-up of the most intelligent Sephi with its’ members almost without exception highly educated.

Sitting closely behind the Craftsmen for economic and political influence is the Mining Caste who counts nearly every Mining Organisation on Isobe and Altus within its’ ranks. They’re responsible for mining the precious Kyber and Tynzo Crystals along with the large amount of other precious metals and crystals from Isobe, using a great amount of skill in operating interstellar and terrestrial mining craft. The Craftsmen possess a grudging respect for Miners thanks to their intelligence, resourcefulness and ingenuity. Sephi whose families belong to the Mining Union historically are the most physically powerful if not possessing the greatest stature typically, that characteristic belonging to the Craftsmen. The Mining Caste wields considerable amounts of influence over Sephi politics and the economy with it being considered socially acceptable for Craftsman and Mining families to intermarry, although a Craftsman marrying a Miner is considered “Marrying Down” the marriage is considered more acceptable if the Miner’s family is of prominence and means. The Head of the Craftsmen Caste holds a permanent seat on the ruling Monarch’s Royal Council and they are known as the “Master Builder”

Engineering is a field that many Sephi are attracted to with their species seemingly possessing an inherent understanding or Robotics and Machinery, Engineering-related careers are so popular they are one of the defined castes within Isoban society. Engineers work to design and maintain a wide variety of products constructed by the Craftsmen Guilds and as a result they work closely with the most prestigious caste of Isoban Society, their duties often have them performing work that would normally be reserved for a Craftsmen when maintaining a system and often they do it with no less skill, this is reflected by the noted absence of social stigma when Craftsmen intermarry with Engineers. Engineers as a result of their skills and usefulness are greatly respected by all the other castes and sit only barely beneath the Craftsmen Caste and equal to miners. The elected head of the Engineering Caste is known as the “Grand Architect” and the position has a permanent seat on the Royal Council so that the Engineers are economically and politically represented at the executive level.

Sephi are a spiritual people with keen minds and those interested in the traditional sciences often hail from the Apothecarium’s families who have catered to the Sephi’s needs for Biologists, Chemists, Dentists, Physicians and Physicists for centuries. While considered educated by the other Castes within Sephi Society they have never been politically significant or prestigious so while respected in academia they have little sway in political life, as children, they are usually encouraged by their parents to seek out truth and knowledge without regard for the Politicking between the castes and inherent political conflict. Sephi Scientists and Researchers are noted to be particularly passionate about the growth and preservation of life with more cynical Craftsmen dismissing them as superstitious and clinging to the mysticism surrounding the force, with this often-seen characteristic they are considered the most ‘religious’ caste tied for the honour with the Justicars and historically have been proud supporters of the Jedi Order. The “Paragon Apothecary” is recognised socially and officially as the leader of the Apothecary and usually referred to casually as “Paragon” And holds a permanent seat on the Monarch’s cabinet known as the “Royal Council” directing Caste activity and policy at the behest of the Monarch.

Sephi Justicars are the judges and law enforcement personnel of Isobe responsible for enforcing the laws passed by Isobe’s parliament or decreed by the ruling Monarch. Justicars are feared and respected by all the other Castes as it’s regarded as epitomising the Sephi belief they possess a responsibility to preserve peace and security. Justicars are often described and thought of as part Priest and part Police Officer, with deeply monastic attitudes and respect for life. Justicars not only investigate and prosecute crimes they’re also responsible for sentencing in court upon a defendant’s conviction. The Sephi use an inquisition-type of court as opposed to an adversarial one used in most other civilised systems. Justicar Agents are trained for years and entrusted with immunity from legal prosecution when tasked with serving warrants by the Justicar Order or Crown, permitting them to use any means necessary to subdue wanted criminals. Sephi suspects are generally wise enough to know not to resist the Justicars, as they’re universally highly trained and often heavily armed and clad head-to-toe in Powered Armour. The Master Justicar is a highly prestigious, respected and politically powerful position and they have a permanent seat on the Royal Council, the Monarch’s cabinet.

At the bottom of the Sephi’s society is the martial caste although they do possess significance within Sephi Society, this caste is known simply as the “Guardian Rate” And include everybody involved in military service to the Sephi Crown and Royal Council. Military families in particular are looked upon with disdain by the other castes, with members of the same family holding disdain for the work their own kin do as members of the Guardians due to their pre-occupation with destruction and violence which comes at odds with the race’s spirituality and their belief that it’s the Sephi’s responsibility to safeguard with life. Despite possessing little to no economic influence the Royal Army’s Supreme Commander known by their title “Autarch” does hold a position of political power on the level of the Master Craftsman with both staffing the Royal Council directly advising the Sephi’s Monarch. As a result, the Guardians and Craftsmen have a lingering animosity for one-another that persists to the modern day.

Despite many other Caste-based societies a Sephi is not considered to be apart of any one caste until they physically mature and seek education or employment, this has the advantage of permitting the state to educate children and adolescents in co-educational environments. The association of a child with their parents’ caste is a social and not a legal one necessarily grounded in reality, though the expectation and societal pressure for a child to adopt their parents caste is a strong one it isn’t a lawful compulsion. The Caste-system reflects a Sephi’s role and employment within Sephi society and gives a broad idea to their lineage, for example, a child born to Guardians could join the Craftsman Guilds although it would be done through merit although it would be difficult without the resources and social connections into the Craftsman Guild. There is little stigma with being “Casteless” And no forfeiture of legal rights and entitlements if a Sephi leaves their caste and doesn’t join another or pursues an obscure line of work that lacks a dedicated Rate within Sephi society such as entertainers and performers.

GOVERNMENT & ECONOMY
 • Government: Semi-Constitutional Monarchy (De Jure), Meritocratic Technocracy (De Facto).
 • Government Branches: Craftsmen Guild, Mining Union, Federation of Engineers, Apothecarium, Royal Prosecution, Guardian-Defender Corps
 • Head Of State: King/Queen of Isobe, Thustra and Primoris
 • Judicial Branches: Court of Order (Summary Offences), Court of Light (Indictable Offences), Royal Court (Supreme Court; Appellate Jurisdiction)
 • Law Enforcement: Royal Prosecution
 • Legislature: Convocation Of Crystal (Lower), Magisterium (Upper)
 • Military: Guardian-Defender Corps
 • Affiliation: Kingdom of Thustra
 • Wealth: High – For Centuries and through galactic turmoil the Sephi have maintained their reputation for exorbitant wealth and luxury with standards of living and quality of life near unmatched by anywhere else in the Galaxy. Their Craftsmens’ work is renowned throughout the Core for their beauty, elegance and durability along with the great expense at which they are often procured from these Sephi Guildsmen. Visitors to Isobe are often awestruck by the worlds’ shameless displays of opulence and Elegance with the Sephi’s Craftsmen possessing no modesty in their angular and sleek designs.
 • Stability: High – Despite caste tensions within their society Isobe enjoys a high amount of stability thanks to a strong Head of State and Government in the Monarch of Isobe who inherits their crown in a defined line of succession and exercises veto power over any motion or legislation proposed by their Councillors. Most political positions within Sephi Society are appointed either by the Monarch's mandate or by the Royal Council appointment upon recommendation by one of its' sitting members, professional and political advancement are intertwined tightly with the distinct absence of political parties that one might observe in a democracy instead Sephi attempt to hone their craft and advance through their rate until they can assume a leadership position within that rate and upwards onto the Royal Council. Violent crime on Isobe is regarded as abhorrent and taboo by most within Sephi society, criminals who employ violence are usually swiftly subdued and incarcerated by the Justicars.
 • Freedom & Oppression: The Sephi of Isobe possess a Semi-Constitutional Monarchy with the Monarch fulfilling the role of head of state and head of government. The Monarch of Isobe is the De Jure ruler and possesses tangible power in the everyday operation of Government which is considered by many visitors to be a type of Anachronism but any long-term resident understands that it’s necessary for the Sephi to possess a strong Monarch who can get the variety of rates to co-operate together in-spite of their mutual animosity. Foreigners are often regarded with outward courtesy although many Sephi possess a suspicion of those that hail from outside the Thustra System and this is reflected by the fact Non-Sephi cannot become Citizens of Isobe. Humans often view the Sephi as appear demure and serious as they frown upon heavy or excessive laughter believing it makes the individual in question look ridiculous or frightened. Justicars uphold the law with a cold ruthless and dispassionate efficacy, Isobe’s constitution contains limited provisions for Freedom of Civil and Political Speech but these are checked significantly by Public Disorder and Sedition Laws which make it unlawful to threaten the Monarch or make offensive gestures in public. The Private ownership of weapons has been guaranteed since the Clone Wars although open possession and display of weapons is typically limited to Craftsmen, Guardians and Justicars although licenses to other caste members or individuals can be granted at the Justicars’ leave on an application. Furthermore, relationships between Sephi and Non-Sephi are prohibited by law, historically this has been selectively enforced almost exclusively when a Non-Sephi attempted to court a Sephi with a prestigious honour title, political prominence or influence economic or otherwise. Non-Sephi convicted or suspected of committing serious crimes such as Murder, Smuggling, Piracy and Slavery are usually banished from the world unable to ever return. Sephi convicted of similar offences are imprisoned, which is considered a great shame within their society.
MILITARY & TECHNOLOGY
 • Military: Isobe Military and Paramilitary services are provided by the Guardian caste and for centuries they’ve stood as Thustra’s Guardians protecting it from outside threats. They’re equipped with bleeding-edge military technology which should surprise none given the worlds’ exorbitant wealth and technical aptitute. Sephi Guardians and Justicars usually possess their own flyer making them highly mobile and in the modern era wear lightweight suits of Powered Armour to give them greater endurance and strength, brandishing Particle Beam rifles as their service weapons to permit the quick destruction of hostile Infantry despite any armour they might wear, especially important given their proximity to the War-obsessed Mandalorians whose ideology and history stands in stark contrast to their own. Secretly, Sephi Guardians also possess in storage Disruptor Rifles which can atomise and disintegrate organic targets, their use is rightly prohibited without explicit authorisation from the Autarch; the head of the Guardians and Commander of Isobe’s entire military. The Sephi field a considerable Navy to fulfil their self-imposed responsibility of protecting the greater Thustra System and their fleet includes a large number of Frigates and Cruisers permitting them to enforce quarantine of the entire system with enough firepower to effectively engage other advanced and modern navies. Their military and particular the Navy’s forces are reliant on Thorilide and Hypermatter Fuel imports for their continued operation. The Guardians being a large caste provide a seemingly endless amount of Manpower and exclusively staff all branches of the Royal Military, combined with their advanced technology they are a force that shouldn’t be trifled with by any would-be conqueror. The Guardians also make extensive use of Droids in combat-related and support roles to increase the available manpower for the combat-units or delegate low-intensity security to robotic units.
 • Technology: While the Gulag Plague plunged the galaxy into Darkness the Sephi of the Thustra system in part thanks to their long lifespans were able to avoid long-term ignorance and regression. Each of the Castes' defined responsibilities helped preserve Sephi society in spite of the Chaos and destruction that swept through nearby systems although their reliance on Hypermatter Fuel imports and Thorilide eventually halted their Navy’s long-range operations. The Sephi’s Craftsmen and Miners managed to maintain their pre-Gulag Plague technology easily enough and used it as the basis for further improvements that would later help them to secure Thustra’s borders from foreign incursions and enforce peace upon the system. Technology considered exotic or rare in other parts of the universe such as Particle Beam weapons, Powered Assault Armour, Gravity and Shield manipulation and Cloned Prosthetics are all technologies found on Isobe that otherwise have been lost to time, the Gulag Plague or any other number of Calamities that followed. The Sephi are well-known throughout Thustra's local systems for their “Flyer” aerial vehicles, which are both fast and agile. The Sephi’s Apothecarium is responsible for performing scientific miracles and of particular concern to them is lengthening their species already considerable longevity and ensuring that they reproduce in significant numbers, as such the Apothecarium spend much time studying and implementing reproductive and conservation policies; attempting to bring extinct species back from the Grave.
HISTORICAL INFORMATION

Clone Wars
"An intelligent and peaceful man, he has always been, and hard to believe, it is, that he would endanger the Sephi without cause."
―Yoda on the Sephi King Alaric

During the Clone Wars centuries ago the Sephi joined the Confederacy of Independent Systems with King Alaric hoping that the Galactic Republic would excise the corruption festering within it at which point he allegedly would have been Happy to rejoin the Galactic Republic. The Sephi under King Alaric’s rule were as they’d always been; peaceful and prosperous. Alaric had grown disgusted with the Galactic Republic’s Senate and the behaviour of his own nephew who had been appointed as Isobe’s representative within the senate. Alaric was determined to succeed from that political union and began the legal process of succession after contacting the CIS head of State Count Dooku. Predictably the Galactic Republic refused to surrender Isobe, commonly referred to as “Thustra” at the time due to its’ importance as the “System Capital” Believing that if the world succeeded the entire system would follow in its’ example.

The Galactic Republic sent its’ army down to occupy Isobe and prevent the world from succeeding. The Galactic Republic’s Clone Troopers were instructed to make a show of force in the hope that it’d cowtow the Sephi population and Guardian-Servants into backing down, the violation of their world with an unwanted presence no matter how powerful drove the normally peaceful Sephi’s citizenry and military forces into a furious berserk rage, the indecisive amongst them politically throwing their full support behind succession and the Confederacy of Independent Systems. Ten hours after landing the Republic’s landing Sephi militia assaulted their positions using suicide-attack tactics, inflicting massive casualties upon the surprised Republic Clone Troopers and claimed both of the Jedi Generals sent to command the forces, leaving their more inexperienced Padawans as the highest ranked members of the Grand Army on Isobe. The Sephi’s experienced, well-trained and well-equipped Guardian-Servants and volunteer militia relied on manoeuvre warfare and localised commands wearing down the Grand Army through attrition, despite this the Senate still hoped to prevent succession despite the open hostilities on Isobe.

Jedi Master Yoda was sent to the planet in the hopes that an agreement could be reached and succession averted without the use of further military force, despite the Sephi’s long friendship with the Jedi Order and Alaric’s personal friendship with Yoda, the Jedi Master and a Padawan named “Cal” were placed under house arrest and detained by members of the Royal Guard on Alaric’s Command. Yoda had a private audience with King Alaric who firmly refused to remain with the Republic, during this time Cal was visited by a Sephi minister named Moje who was determined to keep Isobe and by extension the Thustra system within the Galactic Republic and successfully manipulated the Padawan into believing he and Yoda would be taken back to Republic Army lines by a shuttle waiting for them. Moje was aided by Navi; Alaric’s nephew and the Sephi’s senator within the Republic who wanted to manipulate the Guardian-Servants’ Royal Guard into believing the Jedi had murdered Alaric, and who they knew would kill the Jedi in-turn out of revenge for their beloved Monarch. Which would antagonise the Republic into crushing the Thustra system and Isobe.

When Yoda returned from his Private Audience with Alaric, Cal impatient told Yoda of the escape plan and despite Yoda telling the young Padawan he trusted too easily in the words of a Politician, Cal escaped successfully prompting Jedi Master Yoda to follow him. When Cal arrived at the landing platform he did find a shuttle and a whole Platoon of Royal Guardsmen who had been lead to believe the two Jedi murdered Alaric, furious they assault the two Jedi. Cal activated his lightsabre with little concern for killing the Guardsmen and implored Yoda to help him do the same, Yoda instead opted to non-lethally disarm individual guard using the force. Eventually Cal was overwhelmed however and shot, prompting Yoda to defeat the remaining Guardsmen with a force push. Cradling the dying Padawan in his arms, Cal cursed Yoda putting responsibility for his death and losing Thustra on the Jedi Master.

Senator Navi contacted Padawan Pix and Commander Clutch, informing them that Yoda and Cal had been murdered by Alaric which prompted them to launch an assault on the Capital inflicting heavy casualties on the Sephi Citizenry and Guardian-Servants. Yoda believed the Guards had been sent by Alaric and so chose to confront his old friend with this fact, the two conversed with one-another and the resulting dialogue revealed Senator Navi’s duplicity to King Alaric, emboldened by his treacherous Nephew’s attempt to keep the Thustra system in the Republic Alaric threatened Yoda with a blaster pistol hoping that his death would galvanise the entire Sephi people and system to fight against the Republic, he fired at the Jedi Master forcing Yoda to deflect the bolt which tragically struck Alaric. Yoda held Alaric as he died with Alaric begging Yoda sadly to remember their friendship as it was, not as it had become. King Alaric’s death did successfully galvanise the Sephi, but his death ostensibly at the hands of a Jedi Master whipped the entire Thustra System and indeed the entire Sumitra Sector in rebellion against the Republic out of respect for the Sephi and their Monarch. Several worlds sent their armies to the Thustra System to support the Guardian-Servants of the Sephi’s Royal Army who then successfully pushed the Grand Army and Republic Navy off Isobe and then out of the Thustra System wholesale. Though the Sephi paid a high price in lives for their independence but the Galactic Republic would never again contest Thustra or Isobe for the entire war, with the system joining the Confederacy of Independent Systems. Several Sephi would then go on to support the Confederacy’s War Effort with a number volunteering to serve in its’ military. Senator Navi’s duplicitousness was revealed by several clone officers and Jedi after an inquiry into the events surrounding the invasion, Senator Navi would then be arrested, convicted and imprisoned. Unfortunately, with the execution of Order 66 and the Rise of the Empire, Isobe and the Thustra system would be subdued with many of its’ resources and services nationalised by the Empire as was the fate for many worlds which had supported the Confederacy.

Sometime after the Death of King Alaric the crown passed through to Lord Hallux who was crowned King with his children becoming the new Royal Family of Isobe following Alaric’s Death and Navi’s imprisonment. During Hallux’s reign Isobe became obscenely wealthy as he developed the world’s Tynzo mining industry, Tynzo being imperative to the manufacture of Transparisteel or any transparent glass-like material so that it could resist the stresses placed on it during Hyperspace travel and as the only world in the Galaxy producing it, Isobe had a monopoly on the market for this product. During this period Thelan, King Hallux’s son had begun a Tynzo-smuggling ring and sold the precious Crystals as a lower than market price to a plethora of underworld buyers who couldn’t otherwise go through banks and commercial channels to purchase them. Guardian-Servants discovered one of the Operators of the smuggling ring was a young human by the name of “Jun Sato” It was later discovered during the investigation process that he had a budding relationship with Princess Althea; King Hallux’s daughter, this infuriated Hallux and he personally presided over the trial and found Jun Sato guilty and sentenced the Human man. Jun Sato was banished from Isobe for life as was Hallux’s royal prerogative as King. Years later the Alliance to restore the Republic rose and Princess Althea passed away leaving King Hallux in deep mourning for his daughter, Jun Sato now a Commander within the Alliance travelled to Isobe defying his exile and was brought before King Hallux to answer why he had returned. Commander Sato then revealed that the King’s own son Thelan had been operating the unlawful Tynzo smuggling ring, Hallux then had Therlan arrested and provided the Commander with One hour which he would use to pay his respects at Princess Althea’s Grave.

“They managed to survive the Gulag Plague without the great difficulty faced by many others but then found themselves threatened on all sides by envious powers.”
-Anonymous Historian assessing the Sephi’s history.

The Sephi managed to survive the Gulag Plague and subsequent intergalactic tragedies without too much incident and emerged from the Galaxy-Wide Cataclysm in a stronger position due to the weakening of their competitors although it wouldn’t last forever, because of their position and the obsession many powers have with controlling the Galaxy’s core Thustra System would be overwhelmed more than once by some budding galactic juggernaut. The structure of Sephi society however has almost miraculously remained mostly unchanged although several Royal Families have been destroyed completely, with the vicious cycle seeming to continue since the Clone Wars fortunately the Castes managed to continue co-operating through these dark times and maintain stability where true democracies either collapsed wholesale or turned into puppets for the Dark-Side, which even in the modern day continues to represent all that the Sephi loathe; an antithesis to their beliefs in the eternal guardianship entrusted to the responsible.
