Closed System
Strengths:
- P 1500: Fires massive rounds capable with equally massive destructive power
- Long Haul: Shots can travel vast distances
- Multi-purpose: Can fire physical or energy rounds
- Armored: Protected by armored Duranium plating and point defense guns
- Battery Capacity: Isotope V reactor grants long-term field work

- Automatic Control: Inbuilt Droid brain can act as a (lesser) control of the vehicle when Ultimatum is not directing it
- Slow and Steady: Mechanisms do not allow traversing quickly
- Ammunition Critical: Carries few physical rounds
- Reactor Leach: Energy rounds drain Reactor quickly
- Deployment Included: Must deploy before firing
- Tick Tick: Damage to the reactor could cause the reactor to become critical, leading to two possible explosive outcomes
The IDD (Isotope V Duranium Drop, or Iso-Dura Drop) is an expansion of the technology used to create other of Ultimatum's powered suit and personal starfighter. Like the suits and fighter, this vehicle is designed to act as an extended armor for Ultimatum. Built to function perfectly within the AI's mental capacity, when Ultimatum is inside the vehicle it is capable of more advanced functionality than the inbuilt system. The vehicle fires large rounds of either energy or physical rounds, with different potential distances based on the type of projectile. The energy shots can travel further at about 50,000 km far faster than the physical rounds, however, they carry less punch, the ship's reactor can fire twelve of these shots before needing time to resupply the power reserves. The IDD only carries five physical rounds, which can only travel a maximum of 1000 km at a slower rate, though their destructive potential is more significant. Either shot is capable of destroying most forms of armor and rendering vehicles obsolete, but the physical rounds can affect a greater area.
The IDD, also affectionately named the Firecracker by the technicians who service it when not in the field, uses a quadripedal system of movement that requires the machine to settle itself before firing. While it has sensors and visual identification systems; these are relatively short range and intended for defensive purposes. Therefore the vehicle requires outside assistance for actual artillery bombardment. The machine has several guns built into it that act as point defense systems and anti-infantry at close range. As an artillery unit, this is important, however as a vehicle carrying an Isotope V power reactor, this is doubly essential. If a round were to penetrate the armor and radiation shielding surrounding the reactor, it could become unstable, and the radioactive material goes critical. Depending on the type of damage and how extensive, the Isotope V could turn the machine into a thermonuclear bomb, or it could become a radiological bomb. To avoid this outcome, the vehicle has thick Duranium armor, and the reactor complex's radiation shielding acts as a further armor. On the positive side, the reactor affords the artillery a long time on the field, while firing energy rounds can expend large chunks of the Isotope V's power, it has such a reserve that it can enact a retreat with little fear of running out of energy.
As the IDD is intended to act as a long-range artillery/support vehicle, it cannot depress the barrel to allow for direct fire of the main gun. Further, because the rounds fired are so destructive, the minimum firing range is 10 kilometers. In order to ensure the recoil of the gun does not cause permanent damage to the movement abilities, the various mechanisms in the legs and body are bulky and reinforced; this allows the vehicle to take additional punishment but also removes any hope of moving quickly over even a flat landscape. Because the vehicle is based on a quadruped system, the artillery does not need perfectly flat terrain in order to accurately fire, though it is preferable for longer range or more precise shots.
