It was dark in this particular space on the planet of Corellia. When the politics and business of the Republic died down into it's melancholic slumber and the only running were the shipyards and crime dens. Amur hated being, she hated this planet, she hated the people that lived here, yet here she was sticking to the shadows and walking amongst it's alleys and causeways. She was in search of information, information that meant she might have to sneak into the government district and pry her way into it's dirty, ugly secrets.

She started with the criminals, the criminals were the underground lifeline of the planet and she was intent on using that to get what she wanted. What she wanted was not secrets for her to give to the empire, no this piece of espionage was on something much more personal. She wanted to find all about Dex Luval, his secrets, his dirty vices, his favorite toilet if she could take advantage of it. She wanted some much needed alone time for the two, so that way she could turn him inside out.

The Sith soon had to take cover in one of the many nooks that these back dens held as she heard the whirring of a passing patrol speeder. She was making her way to one of the many sewers, history told her that Dex was dirty and had his hands in many different criminal pies. Hopefully she could walk in, bust some heads, sever a few more and get someone to talk. She could taste something in the air as she walked, an anticipation, and that combined with being in such risque territory made her feel alive.

The people of Corellia tended to be fiercely rebellious and any attempt to control the planet had ended in war so the rising threat of the Sith was not something people took lightly. The Sith were not welcome here, that much was clear, and under the jurisdiction of the Republic, Corellia was granted the protection that accompanied their allegiance which was in the form of soldiers of Jedi so when the alarm was raised about a potential Sith then the Jedi Order mobilised and sent a Knight to survey the issue.

It was painful being back on Corellia but the Jedi Order gave him focus and as he had been taught, he chose not to dwell on the past. Being the Knight closest to the supposed area, Castor had been tasked with the mission of locating and apprehending and he knew that when looking for Sith, the best place to start would be the underbelly of a city. He had the added advantage of being able to sense the anomaly through the Force, though at a cost as his presence could also be sensed which meant he needed to be on high alert.

Castor pulled his hood up as he walked through the street, walking with a sense of purpose despite not having a destination. If it came to it then he knew he could ask around. He had credits and that was enough for some. The presence of the Force was evident through the high density of individuals in the area, though he was yet to come across any with a certain alignment until, after reaching the back streets, there was the unmistakable presence of the Dark Side growing more potent.

Continuing along the same route, it soon became apparent that this presence was likely a trained Dark Side user, whether they were a Sith or not was yet to be determined but it certainly needed investigating. He followed the presence, weaving between people and further into the underbelly until he saw a figure in the distance, in front of what appeared to be an entrance to a sewer. "You've got to be kidding me." He muttered to himself before quickening his pace to catch up with the person ahead, though it seemed the fate of entering the sewers was unavoidable.

When you you were in hostile territory you were no longer the predator, you were either prey or you proved to the known top dogs that you were not to be trifled. It was different watching over her shoulder, looking everywhere and no where and her senses on high alert. She liked the danger of it all. She approached the Sewer entrance, a simple locked metal grate. Then she felt it. The force, a beacon of light that practically burned to feel for the Sith and she could feel it try to latch onto her. She smiled and the sound of running footsteps told her all she need to know.

Quickly igniting her lightsaber she would quickly cut the grate open in a clean circle and with a quick kick would send it falling forward. She dashed in extinguishing the saber and now running through the sewers. Her figure would fade into the darkness for the Jedi following. With the red light fading from her helmet as she turned it off she would now rely on her eyes and the force for this. Quickly the rat maze would lead into a slew of people of all types from pick pocketing kids, to the homeless, and the downtrodden. All of this was out of sight, out of mind for the denizens of the planet. She could feel the misery and fear, the cries for an escape and the dejected acceptance from everyone who given up hope in finding something better.

Maintaining a fast pace most would just a see a dark robed figure passing by. Her mind was scanning for ways to throw the Jedi off the trail or atleast distract them. If he had her signature then it would only be a matter of time. She'd need to create chaos. That chance came rather quickly as she heard blasters charge and now found 4 toughs holding her up. Atleast that's what they thought. They surronded her on all sides and she could see that the few people that stayed to watch were petrified with fear knowing what this entailed. Though the predator inside Amur was relishing this. This was exactly what she needed.

"A newcomer, eh? You a funny lookin' one too. Yous better git to paying if you want to stay on the boss' turf." A large green Trandoshan spoke as he approached and towered over the Sith. Amur meanwhile was completely still with not a single word coming from her. The gator was about as dim as they came and thought he could rough her up. That was definitely the vibe she was getting from this being. There was a chance this hold up would give her pursuer enough time to catch up. If they did then they would soon have the front row seats to quite the show.

If the overwhelming presence of the Dark side didn't confirm the presence of Sith then the sight of a red lightsaber certainly did. He had encountered Sith before as a Padawan under the guidance of his Master and both had always come out unscathed so the prospect of facing another was not daunting, despite being alone. It had been five years since he had been Knighted and as a fully-fledged Jedi he was confident in his ability to handle the situation, especially since the Sith seemed to be alone.

Following the figure ahead, Castor reluctantly entered the sewers in pursuit of the Sith, running to keep up with her. It was evident that the Sith was aware she was being pursued so he knew he needed to be on high alert in case she tried to pull any stunts to escape. It was vital to rid the planet of any Sith, not just for the protection of the citizens and security of the planet but because this was Republic territory and the Sith Empire could not be allowed to think the Jedi were pushovers and that they could get away with coming to their allied worlds.

The down and outs of society wandered throughout the dank labyrinth and it seemed most were content with minding their own business until the Sith ahead of him got surrounded by large Trandoshans, causing Castor to skid to a halt at a reasonable distance to avoid getting involved in the confrontation. Ideally, it was intended that the Sith live, if possible, as she would only be killed in self-defence on his part but if she had gotten herself into this situation then he was under no obligation to assist her so he stayed in the shadows and waited to see if she survived her encounter.

Trandoshans failed to scare or intimidate the Sith knight as she clapped her hands together over her chest like she was welcoming guests at a ball. She also felt that presence claw over to her bearing now trying to hide in darkness. Most amusing that a Jedi do this. "Ah yes, the boss. Mistress Azura if memory hasn't failed me. Sadly I can't pay with money, but I do have something far more valuable then that. I'd like to take that to her." The Trandoshan that spoke before seemed to dull in his head as he tried to process what she had just said. He seemed confused perhaps it was at the thought that there were things more powerful then money. It was quite a curious display on his part until he finally spoke.

"Wut makes you think I lets you git to the boss" The trandoshan fired back with now a blaster pointed mere centimeters from Amur's face. Yet once again the Jedi might be able to read that the Sith had no fear, no instead there was a malice and sadistic sense of control within her. Finally a soft chuckle came from the Sith.

"Hon, your pointing your blaster at the wrong face. I'm merely trying to warn your boss about a meddling Jedi infiltrating and trying to shut down your little play pen down here. In fact he's trying to do that right now." While Amur was speaking her concentration was spent trying to pinpoint and nail down the exact location. He was close and she could tell he was watching her right now which meant in the confines of the Sewer he would be force to have to watch from a few locations. Narrowing down all the possibilities of where he was. All of this playing in her favor. "I'm sure your boss would be grateful of you if you stopped him and my organization would pay handsomely. 250,000 credits dead in fact, and he's right over there.

The Trandoshan's mood changed at the mention of Jedi in the sewers as a sense of alert came over the large hulking being and that combined with the mentioned of favor his boss sprinkled with the greed of a reward and he had been swiftly swayed in a heartbeat. A finger raised to point out his location as she looked straight at his whisking energy in the force. She smiled from under her helmet and soon the Trandoshans forgot about the odd woman and started barreling towards where she pointed. One of them even shouted to the high heavens. "We got some Jedi game to hunt boys!" The words echoing and carrying throughout the entire area causing a noticeable change as people ever dove out of the way or took up arms to begin the hunt.

The sith merely turned around and began her stride and endeavor to find the den Azura operated from. Confident she gave the Jedi some hell.

Castor watched the situation unfold with his eyes narrowed as he tried to make out what was happening. There seemed to be an exchange of conversation between the group but the contents of it he couldn't decipher. The only indication to the mood of the situation was what he could sense through the Force and peculiarly there was no fear from the Sith. Was she planning something? He wondered and the answer came soon enough at the sudden shift in the mood of those around him followed by a bellow from a Trandoshan who had launched in his direction.

Instinctively, he reached for the blade at his hip and ignited it to protect himself from the onslaught of blaster bolts from those who pursued him but he was unafraid. It seemed not everyone here was so convinced about the positive influence of the Jedi. He deflected the first round of bolts, sending two bolts back into their gunman, killing one and injuring the other. As the two behind them approached, he used his hand to pull the blasters from their grasp and when the first swung at him he sliced upwards though the Trandoshan's wrist and knocked him off balance with a kick. The last immediate opponent pulled out a vibroblade which the Knight had to duck to avoid before rising up and plunging the lightsaber through the man's abdomen.

All around was the growing sound of footsteps and with every second the Sith got further away. As the footsteps behind him grew louder, he broke into a sprint. There was no time to waste. A bolt flew past his shoulder, forcing him to stop and turn around to face the threat. A group of three had caught up and were firing at him which was deflected by the Knight but he struggled to get the bolts to find their targets. He held a hand out a free hand and Force pushed two of the men backwards and off their feet which allowed him to deal with the third by cutting through his wrists.

One of the men on the ground had reclaimed his blaster and shot towards the Jedi again, narrowly missing his leg and drawing Castor's attention back to his remaining opponents. He deflected the next bolt back at the man, hitting him in the hand. Now the final opponent was standing with a blaster pointed at the Jedi's head and there were mere seconds to react. Castor held out a hand at his side to covertly use the Force to stop the blaster from firing momentarily which gave him the vital time needed to put his lightsaber through the man's chest.

By now, he was breathing heavily but this was only a distraction from the real task and he had to continue. As he was about to turn around to pursue the Sith again, he felt an overwhelming weight on his back and fell crashing down onto his front with a grunt, pinned under the weight of a Trandoshan. The lightsaber was knocked from his grasp and rolled out of reach. The Trandoshan spoke to a companion in a language he didn't understand and all eventualities ran through Castor's mind as he tried to figure out how to escape the situation now.

He struggled against the Trandoshan for a moment before stopping to feign surrender. One arm was pinned underneath them both but his dominant hand lay at his side and so with nothing more than a twitch of the hand, as not to draw attention to himself, he used the Force to pull the lightsaber back into his grasp and plunged it into the side of the Trandoshan on top of him so he rolled off. He quickly got to his feet and followed the trail of the Sith, the sound of footsteps hot on his path.

Amur only needed to listen to know that chaos had started to break out, the wonderful sound of a saber coming to life and blaster fighter was but a joy to hear. A part of her wished it was her in that fight scrapping it out to a bloody end but for now making the Jedi suffer was enough for her. She took a fast stride and now grasped onto her mace setting it to combat mode. Masses of people were now in a rush now all around her. She would have to take care to bob and weave around the horde to make any progress.

Doing so she continue forward reading into and exploring the caverns and felt like she was getting nearer and nearer when she found herself briefly in a circular chamber and found herself surrounded by 3 people. They looked like proper mercs to in full body armor and with repeating blasters. Quickly she act rolling towards one of the men as a cascade of fire rain towards her formal position as she then force pulled the man by his neck. She then would grab him by his arm with her left hand and begin to pull as she brought her mace in for a brutal sideways strike against his helmet, caving his skull in in the process, and using then rotating him around to use him as a human shield. Throwing her mace at one opponent as the bludgeoning weapon found purchase into one of the men's chest plate as she charged the other man who panicked and fired into his friend.

She then would near before force pushing the body towards the man causing him to fall over. Meanwhile the man that took the mace would find it embedded into his chest cavity as he cried out in extreme pain as the vibrating weapon worked it's horrifying magic, he would soon pass out from the endeavor. Meanwhile she would walk up on the last man who was now trying to wrestle a dead corpse off of him and plant her foot purely on his neck. The final merc would struggle to try and free himself but with a simple flick of her boot his neck would snap.

She then casually retrieved the mace from the nice mace holder that proved to be the dead merc's chest and promptly continued on tell she spotted one large round room covered in blue light and with a pool of water. Knowing that her target was most likely in there.

Castor remained remarkably calm and detached as the situation progressed and was focused entirely on clearing the path to the Sith; everything in between was merely a nuisance and he didn't doubt that he wouldn't be able to handle all those who wished to kill him. The fighting was draining on him physically but this was far from the real battle where he would no doubt be challenged so he knew he needed to conserve what he could.

Without any major intervention he was bound to get swamped by everyone chasing him so in order to diminish the amount of people who could get to him, he stopped for a moment and turned around. He had noticed the pipes running along the walls of the sewer and figured now was as good a time as any to use them to his advantage so he held a hand out towards the pipe, causing it to splutter and shake until it broke free and released a thick cloud of steam. Quickly, he turned and continued on to avoid losing the Sith. The people behind would soon learn not to follow which was confirmed by the scream of a man who tried to cross the steam's path and the angry shouts that followed.

Ahead, a figure emerged from the darkness wielding a vibroblade which Castor ducked under to narrowly avoid before turning to swing at the man and slice through his wrist. The man made a valiant effort of continuing to fight by swinging his fist towards the Jedi but Castor held a hand out in front of him and used the Force to push the man backwards and off his feet before the pair came into contact. He continued along the route, before the man had the chance to gather his barings, following the signature of the Sith.

As he came towards a new area of the sewer and gained on the Sith, he slowed down at the sight of three figures on the floor and walked over to them cautiously. He sucked in a breath at the the grotesque scene before him and stepped over the mercenaries to reach their killer. He strode towards her with determination and fingers locked tightly around the lightsaber hilt, though weathered by the fights it had taken to reach her.

Walking into the blue room she could feel an anticipation build not only inside her but another figure. It seemed the Jedi was steeling himself for a battle and encounter. She was much rather enjoying it. She knew what she would meet the Jedi and perhaps the Jedi would be surprised by what would be in store for him. Still she adjusted her belt and grabbed hold to something as she stepped inside gripping it tightly in her left hand as her right neared her saber hilt ready to draw it. The Jedi would not feel fear from the sith but rather that the swirling mass of darkness that enveloped the Sith was welcoming him to come nearer.

The room was circular with a massive pool in the middle. On one half was two sets of stairs that hugged the curving wall and led to a higher platform all of this being made from concrete. Amur merely waltzed near to one of the Staircases with her back against the wall watching. Seeing the figure she couldn't help but smile as she finally got a good look at the predator that was trying so hard to catch her. He wasn't half bad too, perhaps in another life she'd be a Corellian diplomat trying to worm her way into his heart.

"I'm glad to see you made it. Tell me, how many lives did you waste to get to me Jedi? Do you even know what you're trying to stop or are you just a lapdog following orders? Amur poked at the Jedi, a particularly mocking tone was placed on the word Jedi. She already held that in contempt. As she spoke people would begin to converge to the room. Atleast ten people, some looking for a fight and others were runners and peasants just trying to flee and find safety. It would take a few moments of conversation for this to happen though as the Sith had nary a sign of worry from this. In fact she was rather enjoying this.

"I'll atleast have you know that I'm here to stop a few rotting pieces of corruption on your planet. People whom your order perhaps would end up turning a blind eye to because the right people get paid." As she said that though a great bubbling would emerge from the pool. A large creature rising from the deep adorned in a great deal of jewelry.

A sense of great fear now rose over everyone as they gazed upon an angered Mistress Azura. The being would raise five meters above the water with a significant part of her body still concealed below the water as she literally and figuratively looked down upon everyone. She looked at the two unusual figures with a sneer across her aquatic face.

"You trespass on my territory, kill my men and throw everything in disarray. You are going to pay for this you Jedi. Explain yourselves before I decide you pay with your lives."

The Sith was completely calm and felt devious as she raised the thing she was gripping in her left hand. Her finger hovering above a button.

"He's the only Jedi here, and the only thing I need to explain is the fact I have a real thermal detonator in my hand and what you can do for me to stop me from arming it."

The coldness of the Dark side enveloped the area and the tension and anticipation of the two foes rose as the distance between them grew ever smaller but upon reaching a large circular room with a pool, Castor paused for a moment to get to get to grips with the new surroundings but his eyes quickly fell on the Sith who he could only assume returned his gaze. With seemingly no where to escape to, he didn't feel particularly rushed into launching into a duel and besides, he liked his odds.

Castor approached the Sith as she didn't seem so intent on running any more but maintained a distance out of her reach and stopped, holding his lightsaber down at his side, not immediately attacking her as he was rather curious about what she would do. He glared at the Sith as she addressed him "Waste?" He scoffed. "That's rich coming from you." He retorted. The Jedi had a strict code of killing only in self-defence but the Sith didn't seem to have such an aversion to the senseless loss of life. "Contrary to popular belief, we aren't all just mindless slaves. A difficult concept for you to grasp, I can imagine." He replied.

At her next comment, he was about to snap back at her with a witty remark that would no doubt irritate her but was interrupted by movement from the pool in the centre of the room and he instinctively backed away from the edge as a long creature rose from the water and towered above the pair. He adopted a more defensive stance, prepared for an imminent attack from the looming creature but the Sith didn't seem quite as on edge. For a planet he had always called home, it became woefully apparent that he knew very little about the more unsavoury aspects of the planet and what those who lived there experienced and he was increasingly surprised to find out the truth.

"Would you have let us escape with our lives even if we explained ourselves?" He asked with a frown. Out of the corner of his eye, he saw the Sith raise an item in her hand and instantly backed away from her once she revealed it to be a thermal detonator and turned his lightsaber on it. He kept both beings that he considered enemies in front of him and became increasingly concerned as the situation escalated. He was prepared to draw on the Force to try and pull the detonator away to prevent the Sith from arming the device but didn't shift from his stance to give a hint of his intentions. "Leave me be and I'll stop her from arming it." He offered in retaliation which arguably wasn't the best idea but desperate times called for desperate measures.

The creature had no reason to believe either of them so the tension continued to rise. This Sith seemed really determined to achieve whatever goal they had set out to achieve but the Knight was equally as determined to prevent her from doing so. Once the immediate threat of the detonator was disposed of then he didn't doubt that the situation would be within his capabilities and he could take both the Sith and the creature who threatened them.

Amur had all these expectations and hopes for what an encounter with a Jedi would entail, spirited debate, clashing of ideals and a true mixture of the light and dark trying to see what would win out on any particular day. She didn't get any of that right now. This Jedi was someone that Amur could only hold abject condescension for. This wasn't a jedi in her eyes but merely a whiny brat of a kid that wielded a light saber and acted like it suddenly made him special. She almost wanted to school the man on all the ways he karked up today, hell if she got what she wanted from Azura then she might do that.

Truth be told if he actually was hell bent on not being a murderer then he would have resorted to evasion, not to mention he got into this mess by keeping his signature open so it was easy for him to be continually noticed. Following her into a sewer without a plan or idea of what he was wandering into. His comments also displayed a shameful lack of wit then followed up by what he said to the hulking creature.

The crime lord blinked so hard that her disbelief was positively audible and Amur found the fact that not only the fact that this Jedi decided to continue being so close minded it was dreadful. Did this man have any concept of flexibility? Then he offered him to stop her in exchange for him to be letting go. The sith couldn't help but chuckle loudly at seeing this jedi, this supposed paragon of hope stoop himself as low as the common criminal. Azura meanwhile just scoffed and immediately replied with a simple "What?!".

Amur realized that she could capitalize on this. "Ignore the Jedi it's quite clear by now he puts as much effort into his comebacks as he does in being a Jedi. Unlike him I actually put foresight into my actions. This bomb is only a measure so you'll hear me out and he won't do anything so stupid it gets everyone in this room killed. Now I just want you to tell me everything you know about Dex Luval. Ceo of a major power corporation that keeps the lights on around here, devious snake, pompous twat, any of that ring a bell? From what I understand you have a few ties to him."

The being was putting on an air of defiance but it was clear she was thinking something over. Her gaze shifting between Amur and Castor. Amur for holding the bomb and Castor for now producing his light saber. Amur meanwhile was readying the force herself in her right hand. She wasn't in the trusting mood that the Jedi or Azura would play nice and prepared in case they tried something. Amur also would take the time to position herself so she could keep Azura and castor in her sight at the same time. The crime lord though had decided on a response.

"Jedi how do I know you won't bring your order down upon me if I let you go? You think I'm dumb enough to let you walk out of here without some kind of insurance?" Azura scolded at the Jedi though perhaps he might take the slightly corrupting hint, then her gaze turned to the mad lady with the thermal detonator. "Let's say I do know a few things, why should I tell them to a schutta like you that's already too much trouble?" She spoken and while harsh perhaps it was merely the beginning of a negotiation rather then a fight.

Arguably, his experience of the Sith didn't seem to be much worse than his experience of the Jedi recently despite their questionable morals and seemingly lack of regard for life in any shape or form. He had grown distasteful of the Jedi in recent years and it seemed they had grown wary of him too; other Knights his age had Padawans by now but he hadn't been asked to consider an apprentice and it seemed solo missions were growing far and few between. It was clear they didn't trust him and maybe they had a reason to, he had grown more reckless and lax about the Jedi code after all.

"My only issue is with you, not-" He looked up at Azura and then back at Amur. "-her." He finished. "If you want to kill us all then go ahead, see how that works out for you." He replied, seemingly at ease with the situation now as it didn't seem to escalate any further for the moment. Never before had he experienced such a lengthy battle just to face a Sith and never before had he had to hold a conversation with one but it was proving to be somewhat underwhelming. At this point, he cared very little about what measures he would take to get to the Sith. After all, the ends would justify the means and he wasn't exactly the strictest or most fanatical of Jedi.

The Jedi shifted his gaze between the Sith and the Crime Lord to ensure neither were to react suddenly as the situation didn't seem to deescalate any further. He was intrigued as to why the Sith was searching for information on a person as it seemed like more of a personal vendetta rather than a Sith one but it must've been something she was truly passionate about to risk coming into Republic territory which made it all the more important that she be thwarted because who knew what lengths she would go to.

"I don't care enough to tell the Jedi about some underground crime on Corellia. Our fight is with her, not you" He replied with a glance towards Amur, though it was unlikely for her to believe him as she had no reason to trust him so he thought for a moment before speaking to her again. "What do you want from me? I have credits and a couple of lightsabers but that's about it." He couldn't possibly imagine what she
would want from him, he had never had to converse with a corrupt Crime Lord before but she was shaping up to be more reasonable than the Sith.
