What is the primary driver of one’s path in life? Fate? Destiny?
Or is it circumstance?
For Iseri it was most certainly the latter. Born into comfortable means, the son of an Intelligence Agent of The Sith Empire, it was but the utmost ease to follow in such footsteps. It was a task that could be undertaken with eyes closed and the certainty of success at the end.
One can not live their life with eyes closed forever, of course. Yet by the time Iseri realized such a thing it was, as it often was, too late. The damage had been done. Horrors had been done, both by his hand and by the inaction of it. Lives, destroyed. Families torn asunder. All he had managed in his tenure beneath the Empire was murder by another name.
In the name of a cause he truly never believed in.
When the opportunity for defection came, Iseri took it without hesitation. The New Imperial Order had revived the storied Imperial Security Bureau, and they would never turn down a turncoat of the old Empire, especially a graduate of the academy at that.
Life gave Iseri a clean, freshly pressed uniform, a shiny new insignia badge and a title. It was an opportunity for a fresh start.
Yet, the question still lingered. Was all of this out of belief in the Imperial ideal,
Or was it but circumstance?

If Iseri Tanaka could be summarized in a single, all encompassing adjective it would most certainly be average. Tall, but not too tall. Lanky, but not malnourished. Brown hair and eyes that could best be described as muddy.
A fair complexion, and looks that weren’t about to see his face plastered on any billboards. Not that the man was about to complain any about that. The last thing Iseri wanted was notoriety, especially over something that was merely skin deep. In short, Iseri stands out as well as a tree in the forest.

Strengths and Weaknesses
Sociable: It takes a certain kind of confidence to walk up and strike up a conversation with a complete stranger. More so to lie to them with a straight face.
Determined: Goes above and beyond to ensure what he starts gets done.
Inquisitive: Always just keeps pulling at that thread to see where it goes.
Loose Lips Sink Ships: Getting him to shut up TRULY is an accomplishment. To the point sensitive things are at risk of slipping out.
Dogged Persistence: Really doesn't know when to call it quits.
Paranoid: Did the cup on the table move a quarter inch to the left since he was last here? Probably.
Guilty Conscience: Intelligence work isn't good for the soul.
