Dreidi just enjoyed the moment as a chance to run around and feel the nature around her, the wind, the ground and the plants. It was a delight for the young woman as she raced around. That was till she looked back to where Aiden was, Dreidi was going to tease him about being a slow old man but then she saw the stumble and the hard hit into the ground. His weak attempts to get back up and then collapsing again. Dreidi stopped in a hard brake as she looked over to him. Waiting a moment to ensure this wasn't a trick or that there wasn't a trap going on.

Had he been attacked? Were the beasts smart enough to create a trap? Why didn't he recover? Why wasn't he getting back up?

"Aiden? Aiden?! AIDEN!!" Panic grew in Dreidi's voice as she didn't see him moving, waving her hand the witch instantly teleported to his side.

A fortunate aspect of her skills, it didn't matter where he was, she would reach him as fast as she could. There was a simple healing spell that she could use to help him, though it would be taxing since Dreidi was more offensively skilled in her Magick and not the healing type like other witches from Dathomir were. First, she needed to figure out where he was hurt and what needed to be fixed.

Grabbing Aiden, she pulled him over and looked him over for any obvious injuries. "Are you hurt? Where are you hurt? How painful is it?" Dreidi asked with her voice deep in concern as she spoke.

"Aiden? Aiden?! AIDEN!!

A smile showed on his face, as he laid face down on the ground.

It was working, He thought, smiling internally as well.

"Are you hurt? Where are you hurt? How painful is it?"

As she rolled him over, the gist was up. He started to chuckle and laugh a bit, and it was then she would know he was playing with her.

"Dreidi....my hero." Aiden said in between a laugh and a teasing voice, as he held out his hands in defense in response to her, in case she attacked him playfully.

He had to admit, that was lightly uncalled for on his part. "Perhaps a bad joke, I apologize." He said with a laugh and big smile, still teasing her all the same.

He had faked it?!

Ohhhhhh, Dreidi was peeved, annoyed that she allowed herself to get duped by such an obvious ploy. It was number one in the playbook, don't fall for fake injuries/deaths.

She punched Aiden teasingly, a little firmer than necessary but not an actual punch that had the intention to hurt. "Causing me panic is terrible!" Dreidi growled in a playful manner. Straddling Aiden to teasingly punch him a few more times and make sure that he can't escape her punches.

"Terrible joke!" Dreidi giggled as she stopped punching Aiden for a moment. "Gah! We're meant to be on mission and you are going around and tricking me! Next time you really hurt yourself I'm leaving you." Dreidi poked her tongue out at Aiden as she looked down at him from her position.

Aiden chuckled despite the mock abuse, raising his hands in surrender but making no real move to shove her off. Her punches didn't hurt and he was smart enough to know that she wasn't really mad at him.

"Okay, okay, guilty as charged," he admitted between laughs, the grin tugging at his lips making it hard to pretend he regretted it. "But you should've seen your face, Dreidi. You looked like you were about to carry me off yourself."

He winced dramatically at her last punch, then smirked up at her. "Besides, if I do actually get hurt, I'll be counting on you to save me. You'd never leave me behind, you like me too much."

He gave her a playful wink, clearly enjoying how the tables had turned in his favor, though he still squirmed under her a bit to see if she was really going to hold him down. However his hands moved to her sides as he began to tickle her. Knowing she was ticklish it worked to his advantage. And he wasn't going to let up. He tried to move up, in a silly attempt to keep her hands at her sides, where she was being tickled relentlessly at.

With a fake roll of her eyes and a huff, Dreidi shook her head, "please. Even if you needed to be carried away, I wouldn't do so. Too heavy for me to try and carry you." Dreidi snickered a little causing her huffed façade to crack.

"Well don't count on it too hard now mister!" When he stated that she liked him, Dreidi paused and felt a blush on her cheeks. Not sure what to say in response to it. The witch did not wish to dismiss the idea since she was not one to lie to her close friend but it was not the place to confirm such feelings anyway. Not in the way she truly felt.

While she was contemplating what to say, Aiden took advantage of her distracted self and began to tickle her. The Dathomiri squirmed and squealed instantly as she slid off him to roll away from the devilish tickling fingers of Aiden. "Noooooo... evil! Villain! Help!" Dreidi dramatically called out between fits of laughter from being tickled. "Unfair. Cruel and rude!" Dreidi continued as she giggled a little more.

Aiden's laugh rose over her protests, the sound warm and unrestrained. He didn't stop the tickling until Dreidi had rolled away, cheeks flushed from laughing, hair mussed from the squirming. He lay on his side facing her, breathless from his own laughter, watching her with a softness that slipped past the teasing.

"You call me cruel," he murmured, his grin easing into something gentler, "but you don't know what you do to me when you laugh like that.."

The words hung there between them, heavier than his usual banter. He reached out, not to tickle this time, but simply to catch her hand as it rested on the floor. His thumb brushed slowly across her knuckles, grounding the moment.

The Dathomiri's cheeks still carried a blush from before, and Aiden's chest tightened at the sight. "Dreidi…" he started, voice quiet now, almost hesitant.

His gaze searched hers, no smirk now, no feigned dramatics. Just the quiet weight of something unspoken finally breaking through. He wasn't sure what it was, the pain he was feeling. Maybe it was his feelings for her. He knew he shouldn't have said the words. Aiden began to wonder if he was looking for comfort through her. But that wasn't fair not to him, and definitely not to her.

But he had to see....it was just one kiss.....

"Come here, please...."

"but you don't know what you do to me when you laugh like that.."

As soon as those words were spoken, Dreidi froze, the laughter dying in her throat as she hadn't heard those words before. The meaning behind them before. In fact, Dreidi had assumed the far more traditionally gorgeous women who found themselves drawn to Aiden had caught his eye far more than she ever could. That had been her assumptions, at least.

Seeing Aiden now, that belief fade away, taken away by the breeze as she looked into his eyes. Her cheeks were permanently blushed and her eyes heavy lidded. An ideal of a moment like this was something Dreidi had dreamed for years ago, just a moment. Just a desire to share her feelings in a way that wasn't with her words.

When Aiden asked her to come closer, Dreidi complied, no more spirited fighting or teasing banter. Dreidi shifted closer, moving in as close as Aiden wanted her to be. "You... we don't.... I.... hummm.... I just don't want you to feel pressured, Aiden." Her golden eyes looked at Aiden with love, a love that had been built for all the years they grown together.

Aiden's chest ached at her words, so hesitant, so vulnerable, and yet so deeply her. For all the fire she carried, for all the teasing and bravado she wrapped herself in, this was Dreidi as he knew her at her core: careful, thoughtful, afraid of hurting even when she was offering her heart.

He shook his head softly, the corner of his mouth curving in a smile that wasn't his usual grin, but something smaller, more tender. His hand slid from her knuckles up to cradle her cheek, thumb brushing along the faint warmth there.

"There's no pressure," he said, his voice barely above a whisper. "Not with you. This isn't something I feel I should be doing, not because I can't feel anything right now......but because I can't.... not feel it." He wondered what he was doing, everything he just been through, he just wanted perhaps that comfort. That feeling that maybe he wasn't alone, he didn't care how it was.

Her golden eyes held him, and he leaned closer, his forehead gently resting against hers. For a moment he didn't go further, just letting her breathe with him, letting her decide the pace. The Force between them hummed like a quiet flame, steady and certain, as if it, too, was holding its breath.

"If you want me to stop," he murmured, breath mingling with hers, "tell me, please....."

But unless she did, Aiden was already moving, closing that last fragile space between them, offering not a demand but an invitation in the press of his lips against hers, soft and reverent.

As Aiden caressed her cheek, Dreidi leaned into the touch, it was comforting and delicate. It was a sensation that sent tingles down her back. Through her thick dark lashes, Dreidi looked up to Aiden and studied his face. Taking in everything of this moment. This moment that felt a long time coming but also something that also felt like a dream. A vision of a future that she had once disregarded as ever coming true.

Placing her hand on his side, she let her fingertips gently caress and soothe any nervousness or wonders about whether or not she wanted this. For Dreidi, this had been something she desired for a long time. It was just something she never thought she was worthy enough to end up getting. Beauty was not something Dreidi also saw in herself compare to others, she was who she was and there was no shame in that. But Dreidi had been around plenty of people who were beyond beautiful that it seemed crazy to her to be on any level close to them. And they were the ones that seemed to be surrounding and taking more of Aiden's company.

So it seemed foolish to her that he would want to be with her over them.

"I could never." Dreidi confessed as Aiden moved in closer for a kiss, pressing in close herself. She felt her fingers clutch at the material of his top as she kissed him back firmly. Sharing years of her emotions and feelings towards Aiden that had been boxed away. Placed out of reach and now came tumbling out of her in a rush of emotions.

Aiden felt her lean in, and the weight of years, of friendship, unspoken glances, and emotions locked tight, pressed into that one moment. When her lips met his, the world outside them dimmed, leaving only the rush of her warmth, the firmness of her response, and the startling reality that what he had longed for wasn't just his secret wish.

Her fingers clutched at his tunic, and he drew her closer, his arm slipping around her as though afraid the universe might try to snatch her away if he didn't hold on. The kiss wasn't hurried, nor clumsy, there was too much truth behind it for that. It was steady, full, reverent, carrying the weight of words neither had spoken until now.

Aiden broke the kiss only slightly, his forehead resting against hers as his breath mingled with hers, his heart pounding so loud he was sure she could feel it. His hand still cupped her cheek as though she were something fragile and priceless.
