HISTORICAL INFORMATION
Darth Grond got his first apprentice after some years of his promotion to become a Lord. By then he decided that it would be helpful to be supported by a staff and starting recruiting non-force-users who would serve his views and goals, without exception. It is a tiring and long process, his hardliner views are not very spread and therefore he personally makes every final choice who he accepts and who not.

Finding or better say, encountering Mohr Dredd, his oldest apprentice, was an equally Sith-like and sad story. Grond was on a mission to reveal the plotting of a provincial government on an imperial world, he found the traitor, a woman at the planetary governors court. The woman was the mother of Mohr Dredd, who, by chance, was on his homeworld as well after finishing his trials at a very early age already, his force skills were impressive already. Though his reason to get there was oddly the same as Grond´s, but with a different background. Dredd´s mother was attempting to undermine a government, yes, but it was known to her son that she also had contact with a Jedi infiltrator. After torturing and executing the Jedi, the young Sith arrived at his old home just to see Lord Grond decapacitating his mother. Without hesitation the thirteen year old Sith attacked the Lord. Not a very long time later, the young Mor was laying on the ground, his jaw bones destroyed, one of his lungs collapsed and with a lightsaber wound across the belly.

Lord Grond was curious what made this young man do what he did and took him in, sending him to a medical facility and interrogating the heavily wounded boy. Learning of his passion to enforce the Sith ideals, the principles of the code and other ideas which Grond would support, he offered the boy to become his apprentice.
Mor Dredd accepted the offer and even while he was full of hate at the beginning of the teachings, he realised the similarities and Grond started to further support the education and learning of the growing Sith by sending him to experienced and powerful sorcerers.

By now his apprentice was extremely capable and trustworthy enough to be send out to find more followers. Though with time the powerbase started to grow on its own, the reputation of a hardline inquisitor in the Empire was swiftly spreading and individuals rallied to his side, but not before each was tested and trialed by the Lord. The Sith now usually used his followers for tasks like researching on specific topics, spying on someone, gathering information and assassination. More or less intended, he was keeping his distance to his powerbase and as intended, they developed a certain worship for his skills, appearance and principles.
