Strengths:
  • Flexible: The droid chassis has ligaments that can not only bend but also extend or retract in order to make itself seem taller or shorter depending on situational parameters; this within itself assists in both combat and passive situations in equal measure.
  • Balanced: This chassis has been designed to incorporate both strength and dexterity to its movements. Whilst a perfect balance of both, it is master of neither.
Weaknesses:
  • Rarity: Whilst the armaments upon the four appendages are open to customization, one cannot simply stuck whatever part from another droid onto it for comparability reasons. This makes potential changes not only difficult in both installation but finding or crafting the parts required to thin line specifications makes this a difficult task indeed. It would also require time for the Shard in control to learn how to operate these new systems. If this droid is destroyed, it cannot be replicated due to the very specific design; making it a one-of-a-kind.
  • Buzzkill: Being a droid composed of both electronic and clockwork parts, EMPs are going to be a pain no matter the situation. Furthermore, whilst the chassis is durable against a reasonable amount of fire to allow it to close the gap, explosives and heavy hitting weapons like a heavy slugthrower are no doubt going to rattle the components inside. Taking this into account alongside the rarity weakness, this makes repairs a lengthier process compared to other droid models.
DESCRIPTION
With Irn now integrated within the Sith Empire, the corruption and servitude to the Emperor and everything he had built solidifying within the crystalline sentient, an innate desire to have freedom to not only move freely but provide a service with its cold demeanor with predatory demeanor gave way to the possibility of purposing a droid for the Shard's personal use. Be that as it may, Irn did not wish to have some old and inferior model be its carriage and insisted on a design that fitted the specifications that the Shard had seen to personally. An engineer within the Sith Empire, fascinated by Irn's behavior and species, set about working on a unique droid chassis that took various aspects from what was already on the market and shaping it into what his new found Shard associate had planned. Utilizing a somewhat unique design where clockwork components would sit where other droids would rely upon electronics and larger scale battery power, the simplistic and perhaps elegant droid began to take shape despite its tall frame and stature. Of course, this came with drawbacks; the most notable being that clockwork designs were rarely seen about the galaxy and trying to fit one together was no doubt a complex and difficult task that left a rare beauty that would take an arm and a leg to repair if it were ever damaged. Furthermore, the translator required for speech and the optics that the droid was outfitted with no doubt relied on a battery to power, resulting in a hybrid that would find itself vulnerable if hit with an EMP or a weapon that gave significant kinetic force.

Eventually, the armaments were chosen as integrated blades and whilst the appendages did leave room for customization, doing so would be a lengthy process due to the intricate and careful design of the model. Just like everything else within the chassis, the custom model that the engineer and his associates made was not only an elegant assassin droid but also an irreplaceable work of art; something that if it were destroyed, it would crumble like dust to the sands of time.
