Strengths:
  • SHOOT THEM DOWN: The Ares has a unique trait, a semi automatic modality if the user activates the switch in the side of the gun. The pistol can fire ten rounds with one second of delay between every two shots, having a need to cool down for two minutes after firing twenty rounds in less than four minutes.
  • Kill them all: Magnificent as she is. The blaster has two barrels, one above the other that fires automatically after the other fires if someone activates the semi automatic switch. If not, the gun also fires a similar round by the second barrel half a second after the first one.
  • Powerful: The Ares does not have a stun mode and is meant too shoot targets down with a powerful caliber meant to pierce through most ordinary materials.
Weaknesses:

  • IT BURNS: The Ares can overheat if the user does not let it cool down and use the gun only in the semi automatic modality, even going as far as to melt it is circuits for overheating too much and burning the users hand.
  • OH NO, EMP: Like most guns around the galaxy and to keep it cheap, the scientists in Draklory Arms added no protection against EMP.
  • REPAIR ME: Due to cases of overheating and having a constant need to be constantly cleaned, the Ares requires usual repair that can be done by most users at home.
  • IT JAMS: Due to constant complaints at the first trials with the gun about overheating too much and it is need to repair, the scientists in Draklory Arms added a 'safety switch' that can be deactivated by the user, this switch forces the gun to stop cool down after four to five minutes of shooting for at least one minute.

DESCRIPTION

The masters of Draklory Arms due to constant nagging from their superiors in the board, made a reliable gun with two barrels to serve for all ranks among the Military and Navy Corps in the Protectorate. A strong and powerful gun, the masters remodeled much of the Ares by using the DL 44 parts as a example, working in the fire power and the speed, the gun is meant to be opened in half for reloading. Capable of bringing a wampa down with a single shot as the trials have showed, the Ares was meant to serve the ever hungry nobles in Kaikielius that are always searching for more toys to serve in the games they play in court.

The Ares was highly accepted as a standard heavy blaster pistol for all the forces in the Protectorate, many complaining about how much the gun heated and some going as far as saying how they burned their hands due to that.
