ADVANCED SYSTEMS
STRENGTHS
  • Heavy Hitter: The weapon systems and emplacements on the Vengeance-class are some of the most advanced within the Empire, the majority of which are imbued with kyber crystals harvested from all corners of the galaxy. Much like the larger capital-killer weapons, the kyber crystals set into the focusing matrixes of these turbolasers greatly increases the out of the energy fired. Supplementary ion cannons and missile tubes further add to the Vengeance's destructive capabilities, as do a thick screen of anti-fighter and anti-missile laser batteries.
  • Defensive Bastion: Thick hull plating covers the Vengeance from prow to stern, overlaid by redundant shielding to protect every square meter of the battlecruiser from enemy attack. The shield generators that enable this thorough coverage are hidden within the superstructure of the warship itself, making them much harder targets than previous Imperial designs.
WEAKNESSES
  • Slow: The Vengeance-class was designed around strength and intimidation, and its speed suffers as a result. Though capable of chugging along at a fair speed through the vacuum of space for a ship of its size, it is no match for more agile ships below its weight class and even within its weight class. Power projection was all that the Sith desired.
  • Kyber Crystals: Though an immense boon to its weapon systems, the kyber crystals built within each turbolaser cannon can prove volatile if damaged. The Sith understood this risk, but nonetheless they viewed that the benefits greatly outweighed the disadvantages. The Empire had no shortage of crystals to replace those that were destroyed during a battle, for their grip on worlds rich and kyber was a well-guarded secret.
DESCRIPTION
For years, the Sith Empire and the First Order had been close companions in the galactic struggle to assert Imperial dominance. Though secretive with their technological advances, there was a small amount of cooperation between the two titans regarding their militaries. But when the First Order fell to the Ssi-Ruu and fragmented into a dozen different warring states, the Sith Empire was not above cannibalizing and scavenging the corpse of their former ally. Several key systems were covertly infiltrated by Sith agents, First Order engineers and tactical advisors were taken from their homes and places of work in the dead of night, and schematics for new technologies as well as existing designs were downloaded from compromised servers.
With these spoils of espionage in hand, the Sith agents returned and handed over their findings to the military. Immediately, the Corps of Engineers began working to analyze and improve upon the First Order designs in preparation for the production of their own versions of First Order equipment. Fortunately, military officers fleeing the conflagration consuming the First Order brought with them invaluable hardware such as Resurgent battlecruisers. The military immediately seized these assets and turned them over to the Corps of Engineers.
After many months of upgrading and refitting, the Empire unveiled the newest line of battlecruisers; the Vengeance-class Battlecruiser. While visually identical to the First Order's Resurgents, and created with a majority of the same technology, there was something undoubtedly Sith in the new iteration of the design.

Versatile Battlecruiser: The Invictus II has a surprising amount of mobility for a warship its size, capable of outpacing other ships of its class and quickly maneuvering into advantageous positions.
It's definitely faster than average, but it's not more maneuverable (which I think that "quickly maneuvering into advantageous positions" could imply a good, close-quarters maneuverability). This is especially something that I could see people misinterpreting in conjunction with the "maneuverability gyroscopic systems" in the text itself.

Maybe this could be changed to something like "relatively fast strategic movements on the battlefield" or something like that?

Otherwise, this looks good.

Length: 2915m
Hangar: Average
  • 16 Squadrons
Just coming in under the wire for this amount of squadrons. I'm afraid we round down to the nearest size, not up. In this instance it would be 2500m which is 14 squadrons, not 16.
2500m [Base: 3 | Very Low: 6 | Low: 10 | Average: 14 | High: 18 | Very High: 22 | Extreme: 25]
3000m [Base: 3 | Very Low: 7 | Low: 12 | Average: 16 | High: 21 | Very High: 25 | Extreme: 30]
Easy change is to bump up the size that last 85m, otherwise please can you reduce your squadron account accordingly for the average rating as reflected above.
