Introducing...the Destroyer of Worlds!!!

Ruusan - Home of the Bouncers

Though united through an alliance, it was a rarity for military personnel of the Confederacy of Independent Systems to be found roaming worlds in the Galactic Republic. In fact, it was such an uncommon occurrence that Darth Metus, more commonly known as Isley Verd, had to procure proper clearance for his mission beforehand. Apparently, a scouting vessel of Confederate origin had gone off course and crash landed on the Republic world; and it was now Metus' job to find out what happened and who, if anyone, was responsible. To this end, he piloted his personal starfighter from the depths of hyperspace down through the atmosphere of the planet. The Republic patrol in the area recognized his IFF and allowed him passage onto the world without incident, and in but a few moments the ship touched down upon the ground.

When he disembarked, the Mandalorian noticed that the world was beautiful, to say the very least. It was covered with trees, trees, and more trees; but it was unlike any of the wanton forests he was accustomed to. Looking down to the micro-datapad affixed to his wrist, Metus began the process of locating the downed ship via interfacing with its black box. The crash site was only a couple hundred yards west of his position, and so he began hoofing it through the trees of Ruusan. Several minutes later, after spotting smoke flooding into the sky, Metus came upon the remains of the scouting vessel. It was evident that there was no mere malfunction that had brought the ship careening offcourse, as there was an uncharacteristic hole in the side of the hull that a crash wouldn't have been able to produce...

"Sabotage. Great." he damn near groaned, stepping closer in order to get a closer look.

A single Bouncer was flying through the forests of Ruusan. It was completely alone. Usually Bouncers lived in packs and stayed that way for almost all of their life, but his one seemed like it was completely alone and not just for a couple of minutes. The Bouncer was just flying around and minding its own business when it saw some smoking ascending towards the sky. It would probably be because of some small fire a couple of settlers had set up, but it caught the Bouncer's attention. There was something in that direction that seemed very interesting. Something powerful. This was unlike anything the small Bouncer had ever felt in its short lifetime. It was intrigued and wanted to know more about the source of this powerful entity.

A couple dozen meters away from the source of this power, the fluffy green balloon recognized a crashed ship. It was not like the ones he had encountered earlier, but it was one. Immediately the Bouncer felt anger and started increasing its speed. If the same thing that had happened before would happen again, the young Bouncer would probably go completely insane and as he got closer and closer he was finally able to make out more details. Apparently the ship had a hole in it and someone was also standing next to it. The Bouncer felt annoyance in the person, but it could also feel a lot of power in that person. Since the Bouncer didn't know how that person would react to something like itself, it stayed away and tried to stay hidden behind the trees and other things in the area.

The Mandalorian crouched before the hole in the vessel, taking a moment to snap a few photos with his HUD and relay them back to command through a simple transmission. Following this, he stood to his feet and took stock of his surroundings. There was a possibility that whatever had caused the ship to crash was still in the area; and because of that, Darth Metus had to be on his toes. To this end, he relied upon a combination of two things in that very moment. The first of these were the scanners installed upon his visor. In but a single movement of his head, he swept the area with a trio of sensory types: thermal, spectral, and organic. The second was the Force itself; which he opened himself to in order to better sense other beings.

The end result was the locking onto a floating ball of fluff and green, attempting to hide behind the trees and other vegetation in the local area. Metus strode calmly forward, making absolutely certain not to seem like a threat; for perhaps this entity could help...or was the culprit. "You can come out," he said in a gentle tone, "I mean you no harm...Whoever you are."
