Through these many years, I believe I have served our members honorably and UPHELD our CODE of CONDUCT. This chamber is a CAULDRON, a cauldron of opinions and we've CERTAINLY all had our patience and tempers tested in pursuit of our suggestion threads.

I stand this morning with a difficult message.
I believe we are in crisis.
The distance
between what is SAID
and what is KNOWN to be CONSENT...
....has become an ABYSS.
Of all the things at risk in a play by post environment, the loss of a consensual reality is perhaps the most dangerous.
The death of CONSENT is the ultimate VICTORY of evil.
When a roleplayer's consent leaves us,
when we let it slip away,
when it is ripped from our posts,
we become vulnerable to the appetite of whatever monster SCREAMS the LOUDEST.
This Forum's hold on consent was FINALLY LOST on the ROLEPLAY PLAZA.
What took place YESTERDAY… what happened YESTERDAY on RP Discussion was unprovoked DOMICIDE! Yes! DOMICIDE! And that consent has been exiled from this forum!

A new forum has been added to the Roleplay Section, named the "Bounty Board." I've been live editing it to speed up production, as we only started yesterday, after the vote immediately gained a whopping 66% supermajority vote and only continued to rise from there.
Here, the ability to post bounties has been absolutely supercharged. Implemented as well is the new thread filtering the Factory got upgraded with, allowing the users a "backpage" like experience to quickly peruse new bounties posted, with the targets and rewards available at a glance.
While there are many filters available, none of them are requisite to post bounties. However...
Each Bounty Requires A 10,000 UC Payment To Post.
This has been instituted for the purpose of paywalling the forum to avoid low effort submissions from cluttering up the forum. So be aware, you have to pay to post! Right now there is a slight bug that you don't get notified for the deduction, but trust me, it does happen, so don't spam! You'll be broke quick.
We've also instituted a Bounty Hunter Code ruleset, permitting Bounty Hunters to enter any thread in the Public section. Private threads are still (and always will be) off limits!
However, it seems the community wants Bounty Hunters to come after them, so I've also upped the ante on the reputation of them, by having Staff moderated Bounty Hunter Licenses instituted. Major Faction Owners, Judges, RPJs, and Admins can all sponsor these Licenses.
I do understand this pretty much destroys any chance a Bounty Hunter's Guild has of instituting their own systems, but it's been a long while and it hasn't happened (and the ones that were close, I was involved in.) so I feel comfortable that we're not really closing the door on too many people, while opening the doors for a lot of other roleplay opportunity.
