Into the night.

Lisa could pick up on the girls shyness. Of course she was still fresh from the academy and just out of the jedi's clutches. Naturally she would be confused and disoriented. But Lisa had a plan, a little something to break her of her shyness.

"Good, recall those memories. Feel the pain, invite it in and roll it in it. Then gather yourself and force push the table. I want to see how hard you can really throw it."

This was something she'd known of before. The Sith used emotion for power, not peace of mind which was harder to concieve or control. Sophie had done something like it before, where she attacked in an outburst against her master when they first met and allowed her emotions to get the better of her. Now she had to evok them again in order to push the table nearby. Looking to it Sophie held her hand up, her mind swimming with the negative memories she'd brought up in her head. At first nothing happened until, in what seemed like a violent lash, the table sprawled in the air before hitting the wall nearby and splintering into peices. Sophie stood there with her hand still out, as if trying to push it even further despite it being gone.

Lisa felt the dark wave of emotions rise up inside the woman and watched with interest. Her eyes glinted like that of a predators in the dark as she watched at first a timid shy girl, throw the table with a zealous force. So hard that it shattered into splinters. Which gave her another idea. A more evil idea.

"Good good, feels great don’t it! You have the power, as long as you can find the memories to suit you. What you lack is passion mixed with that emotion. Here I'll give you some passion!"

Lisa whipped her hand snarling across the way, catching the the splinters in harsh and rugged force grip. With her mind she drove them at Sophia, seeking to lodge the sharp wood into her legs and arms. The tips would bristle and wiggle, making a sensation like fire well up in her nerves if they hit...

Sophie turned, wondering what she'd meant, only to have the spinlters come at her. She held her arms up to sheild herself before feeling a sense of the force reaching out to try and stop them from hitting her. Some had been bounced back but others stuck into her arms and legs, a little less to cause graver wounds. She threw her arms down, seeing her seelves cut and bloody before lookign back to Lisa.

"What the hell was that for?" she asked before, even hearing an answer, she held her hand out and tried to push her away from her.

Lisa felt the force push, motivated by her pain, and her emotions mixed. This was good but not good enough. As she pushed Lisa pushed, with all her might, locking both pushes in a stalemate. Her palms trembled as she growled and her eyes flashed with the fire of a thousand suns.

She poured her cruelty and malice into the counter-attack, seeking to crush the small girl. She was pitiful a welp. She must learn or be vanquished.

"This is it Sophie, push harder, use your anger your pain, if you don’t push me into this wall, I swear by Exar Kun I'll flatten you so hard into the ground, your bones will turn to dust!"

It was a lie, but a well constructed one. Now that Sophie would feel the pressure of imagined life or death, perhaps she would finally get that extra step, draw that extra power and make a dive into the water. Feeling the power of the darkside in all its glory...

While not fully convinced of her threat Sophie had a feeling Lisa might actually try to kill her. But that wasn't what motivated her. She felt as though she was being challeneged by her strength of the force against her. It wasn't enough that she had the Sith judging her because she was a converted Jedi but now there was Lisa trying to see if she was up to match. Pulling out more on these negative feelings Sophie began to push hard, even to where she roared with furry as she extended her hands further out. Both of them were pushing with all thier might, both physically and with the force. she would see Lisa fly into that wall if need be, as long as it proved her point that she was strong!

As the battle of will intensified Lisa felt her feet slip on the blood. Her mind reeled under the strain of focusing the force so precisely and zealously. The girl began to push back, harder and harder until she had a strength that matched Lisa's own. She gritted her teeth, trying to hold on, to push back in a rallying blow.

Pieces of furniture and glasses and plates began to fly away from them impacting the wall with dull booms and thubs. Shrapnel flew in all directions some piercing Lisa's leg, drawing blood and feeding her rage.

But as Sophie roared, finding that hidden strength Lisa's own gave way. She flew back slamming the wall with a thud so hard, crack spidered upwards in the dull durasteel and she felt the shock of her air leaving her lungs. For a second she thought she had broken her spine, or maybe ruptured a muscle.

As the dust began to settle Lisa could make Sophie out now, a dim figure in the room. Her breath forced it's way back into her lungs and she pushed her self up, covered in blood and dirt, and pieces of broken everything.

"That was good, soooooo goood. That's the rage you need. Carry the memory of how that feels. How did it feel? Did you feel it, the power?"

After the great excersion of power battled between them Sophie had watched as Lisa suddenly flew up and wound up hitting the wall before the floor. She'd stopped, letting everything settle, before seeing the wounds Lisa had sustained from the storm of force energies battered between the two of them. Sophie began to catch her breath, her arms dropping to her side as she leaned foward a little to regain herself. Her breaths were deeper and longer as she heard Lisa say how good everything was. Perhaps, for both their sakes, it was now that Sophie had found a means of pulling out her deeper anger.

When asked if she felt the power Sophie hissed and felt the pain in her arms and legs and answered "Right now I feel like I need stiches."

"Dont worry about stitches. I'm a battlefield medic, served on pirate crew for three years."

Lisa looked around at the destruction then stepped closer to inspect Sophies wounds. They were not major, only two had excessive bleeding. From behind her she snatched her medical kit off the backplate of her armor and opened it, revealing a can of self sealing bacta foam. The galaxies premire healing agent.

"Stand still sister."

Lisa sprayed the foam into each cut, slapping a bandage over each one and securing them with a small band of flexible tape. The night was growing long indeed and soon the sun would break. But first Lisa had one more thing to ask the tired girl.

"Did your master teach you any force powers yet? I know how to summon force lightning, as you have seen. The manifestation is still weaker than a knights or masters, but it works as a great weapon in a pinch. I could show you how, but first you’d' have to experience the lightning yourself as I did. You'll have to be electrocuted."

It was a good thing that Lisa was a medic. It meant not having to explain any of this to her master or someone else who would obviously question why she was wounded. She rolled up her sleeves when the cuts on her arm were dealt with before lifting the skirt of her dress up so the ones on her legs would be tended to as well. As they were dealt with Sophie noted to herself how she would need a new dress, what with this one already cut up and all.

When the question of force powers and all came up Sophie was about to answer before Lisa had told how she would teach her a smaller form of force lightning. Sophie was a little surprised to hear this, having the chance to learn the raw power of the dark side like that and use it on her own. However when it was mentioned that she would need to feel it on herself Sophie smirked to the point of chukling.

"I've already had that experience." she began to explain. "When my master found me we didn't exaclty agree on things at first. So we fought. And in that fight she wound up hitting me with her own force lightning. So belive me when I say I know what it's like. Every last painful moment of it."

"Well then you already know?"

Lisa chuckled as well at the common moment. They both had a similar experience and now that she had felt she could summon it herself. Albeit as a youngster just starting out in the force it would most likely be the same if not less to Lisa strength of the power. Lisa had had a bit of practise though.

"It's a mind thing really, you have to envision it, feel it. Recalling the memory helps. You can only summon it if you're really amped up and truly wish harm on your target. Unfortunately Sophie, you are still too rooted in ethics and morality, the stuff of the lightside."

Lisa paused for a moment, realising that teaching her was almost an impossible task as of now. The girl needed experience in combat. Real combat, the kind where it really was kill or be killed. The blooding of a true warrior, where she could unleash her rage and learn her strength for her own.

"Come on it' s getting late, almost dawn. I suppose I should get you back to the temple, before the Masters start asking weird questions."

Lisa made for the door, mounting the air speeder in one swift motion.

Sophie had expected Lisa to be impressed to where she would skip any step that involved shocking her, or just doing it for the pleasure. But, apparently, she wasn't ready yet. Sophie felt she was but once the mention of getting back before the masters became suspicious came up she recoiled. Lisa had a point. They did need to return before things became more complicated than usual. Sophie only nodded and followed as she pulled her hood up over her head again. It felt helpful to stay as concealed as possible, even if no one was around. She hopped into her seat next to Lisa and watched as they flew off, the remains of the home they destoyed now below them. After that she was a little more quiet the rest of the ride back.
