• Description: Interstellar Shipping Headquarters is located on the coast of the Sea of Translucency. It rests on an island just a few hundred yards from the mainland. Six main spaceport terminals surround the corporate headquarters. The spaceport terminals houses freighters and other ships of Interstellar Shipping. It possesses a protective shield that can provide only limited protection from bombardment—it is mainly to protect against the elements.

Interstellar Shipping Corporate Headquarters
This structure is the main building in the center of the island. It houses all the corporate offices and communications center for Interstellar Shipping.
Kaadu Community and Condominiums
For those employees who want to work and live in the same place, condominiums surround the corporate headquarters in a small wooded area. Many of these condominiums are on the beach among the white sands. It is also home to many forms of entertainment, restaurants and other places that support living on Kaadu Island.
IS Spaceport Terminals (1-6)
The Interstellar Shipping Terminals house IS light freighters, freighters, starfighters, couriers, and the personal vessels of the residents/employees. Terminals 1-5 belong to Interstellar Shipping and their vessels. Terminal 6 is for residents and employee personal vessels.

The intergalactic headquarters of Interstellar Shipping has internal security that measures up to its military equivalents, complete with maglocks, computer terminal access nodes, guard patrols, and a response team. The outside has controlled access and an emergency shield generator to provide marginal protection from orbital bombardment. In fact, only a scat few minutes before it would be ineffectual. However, it does provide protection against the elements and time for the residents and employees to evacuate in a pinch. The IST Spurs provide air support in unlikely event of an incursion.
HISTORICAL INFORMATION
Interstellar Shipping bought Kaadu Island from its previous owner who found himself in a world of debt. The previous owner of the island built up a luxurious resort designed to accommodate guests from across the galaxy, which led to him building massive hangars for the many different sized ships that his wealthy guests would take to visit the resort. Gambling became an addiction for the owner and he quickly ran into debt trouble, far beyond his means with the Eclipse Consortium owned casino. Interstellar Shipping made him an offer he could not refuse and took the island over. Fortunately, the design of the structures on Kaadu Island lent themselves to modification for a corporate headquarters. Malicar left many of the guest locations intact for employees.
