Private Interloper

Lothal, Bryn'adul space
First Warlock Sethrak entered the barracks of The Lothal Superconstruct. Inside, The Lothal Guard stood ready. The Guard, made mostly of Aerevalin, but also the larger Baedurin, and a number of Sraelvun to fill the ranks, was preparing for an upcoming raid. A recently patrol had been ambushed by a large group of rebels hiding out on the planet. Now, the rebel base had been discovered, and Sethrak was going to lead the assault.

He was the warlord of Lothal, and to have a rebel group ambushing his troops was shameful. He doubted any of the other warlords had dissent of any kind on their planets. Truthfully he should have expected this setback since he was rarely on Lothal. Hopefully that wouldn't be the case for much longer as he had recently proposed a number of reforms regarding The Warlock Caste including the movement of their base of operations to Lothal. He hoped the Chieftain would accept the proposal as it would greatly increase his productivity.

But for now he would need to settle with jumping between his two planets, and Draemidus Prime, where the Warlock HQ was currently stationed. But that didn't mean he would have to settle for rebels that somehow escaped the population wipe carried out in the days following the planet's capture.

"You have all been briefed on the situation. Let's move out."

It was all that needed to be said. Immediately the group of about 60 troops began shuffling out of the building. Once outside they would board Brute Gunboats and head toward the rebel hideout. It wouldn't be a long trip, and Sethrak anticipated a quick battle if everything he had been told was accurate. He was only attending to watch his forces fight, and make sure they were still combat ready. Within five minutes they were all in the air, headed toward the enemy.....

Sidoris Thrall Sidoris Thrall

Sidoris came to the toxic world with one goal in mind: retribution. Her journey had taken her near across the galaxy by this point, from Dathomir all the way to Republic, Jedi and Sith territories alike. She had grown curious of the galaxy's affairs, trying to gain her own sense of power and greatness before her intended return home to claim what she knew was hers by right.

But her destiny, it seemed, had taken an unintended detour to this hazardous world she now landed upon; after "persuading" the last owner to release it to her. She was warned the planet was deadly. She was sure to have her breathing mask present before making her way out of the ship's hatch.

The man who managed to slip her for two systems had taken a trinket from the witch of Dathomir. An heirloom of sorts, one that was one of the few pieces of home left to her. The pickpocket had evaded her capture on Jedda but she could still sense her gift, through space and planets alike she had a personal connection with it that would not break until her dying breath. Somehow it had come here, to a system torn by war and plagued by terrible air. It mattered not. She knew what she wanted from here and would reclaim it one way or another.

Once she had taken her first steps onto the world Draemidus, Sidoris clung to the shadows and made her way towards the camp where she sensed her valued treasure lied.

The gunships roared through the new atmosphere of Lothal. Any second now they would unleash a barrage of 457.2mm Molten ammunition at the enemy encampment at 800 rounds per minute. Meanwhile a section of the ships would move in closer, creating a wall of flames to cover the troops as they departed from the ships. Their arrival alone should be devastating for the rebels, but it wouldn't take them out of the fight yet.

But first the gunships needed to arrive.

Sethrak was in the first ship of the formation, along with the best of the Lothal Guard. The Lothal Guard was trained by him, and was perhaps his greatest accomplishment so far. They had fought side by side time after time since their formation and were some of the most experienced troops in The Bryn'adul. The Warlord wondered what the rebels were thinking. They couldn't beat The Bryn'adul, and even if they somehow took Lothal back, they were surrounded, deep in Bryn territory, and the planet wasn't one that they could live on. The atmosphere was toxic to humans.

This was why The Bryn conquered. These planets were inhabited by the weak. Any resistance was futile, and stupid. The Draelvaiser would never lead such a hopeless movement.

At last the guns began firing, signaling the legion's arrival at the encampment. Sethrak's ship would land first, and he would depart, covering his forces with a spinning motion of his Val-Shae Spear. Then he would put the spear on his back, changing to the unique Shadow's Kusarigama , which would allow him a great deal of versatility in the battle.

With a plan formulated in his mind, all that was left was its' execution. He readied himself as the ship slowed......
