[Interest Check] Crystal Gathering on Illum

As Illum is now again open for us to visit, I think it would be pretty neat if we could resume the tradition of crystal gathering for our Padawan, or anyone just looking to make their first or next saber. In Arisa's case, she's just been using a lightsaber she recovered from a Sith many years ago during the OS invasion of Coruscant. As she is now a fully trained Knight, she's decided to construct her second saber to reflect her growth as a Jedi.

I am sure there will not be a problem with this, but Ilum is home to the Iron Legion now and they have set up head quarters very close to the caves. You might just want to run this by [member="Isamu Baelor"] for clarification.

we have caves on voss, rhen var, shri-tal and a couple other places. While Illum is iconic it kind of makes it seem like the only reason we want to be friends with the Iron Empire now is because we can have access to the caves. Much better to go to the ones we have spent time cultivating

[member="Krass Wyms"] Because of its significance in Canon, and the fact I like the location personally, I would like to go to Illum. There's a reason we congregate at places like Ossus or Voss.

[member="Théodred Heavenshield"] I just remembered that in a previous thread with the IE, I had sent some Kiriiban survey teams across the planet to start looking into reversing the damage on the local environment from all the centuries of strip mining operations. Kiribian terraforming tech is on par with Vong shaping. I think I will continue that storyline as a side objective to the crystal gathering for our sciency types.

As a show of friendship, the Silver Jedi are welcome to venture into the Crystal Caves, to perform the ancient rite of the Gathering.
