STRENGTHS:

• Goliath: Over seven feet tall and baring the strength of a wookiee, Zayle is a giant of a Jedi who would intimidate even the Sith were it not for the Jedi Discipline.
• Teddy-Bear: Despite his size, Zayle Beiste has just as big a heart and is a compassionate and caring Lasat, putting his students before himself in most all situations.

WEAKNESSES:

• Pacifist: Zayle Beiste is a pacifist and prefers to avoid confrontation wherever possible. While he is capable of ripping the limbs off of a man, he would much prefer to shake hands with those he meets, rather than see someone lose them.
• Consular: While strong in the Force, Zayle Beiste is found lacking in melee combat and weapons-use such as the Lightsaber Arts. He is a capable teacher and can provide knowledge, yet not the field experience to reinforce the subject.

APPEARANCE:

Zayle Beiste is the type to stand out among a crowded room, not for his taste in attire but due to his species build, standing at a similar height to those of the wookiee species, thankfully without the excess hair and boasting a very masculine form. Following this, you have the unique purple skin and yellow eyes that stand out even more-so in the evening hours, and the pointed ears that most students believe can hear their gossip from one room on into the next.

BIOGRAPHY:

Zayle Beiste was inducted into the Order of the Silver Jedi as a Youngling back when the Order was situated on Voss and has been with them ever since. He underwent the usual training as a Jedi Padawan, apprenticed under Jedi Master Myles Jyvun.

As a student, Zayle got by due to excelling in Force Mastery & Theory, as well as taking on extra-curricular duties within the Archives assisting the Senior Archivist in managing the Order's centre of learning; However, where his strengths clearly lay in most areas of Force-Use, there was a significant show of apprehension towards the Saber Arts and the subject of confrontation among students in a competitive sense as well as out in the field of duty.

It would become clear to his Master in the early years, that Zayle was not in any way fond of the notion that he would have to partake in aggressive interactions with others, and while this isn't uncommon for Jedi, the Lasat went out of his way to avoid attending relevant lessons as much as possible, often found trying to make up for his absence there by studying privately in the Archives in his spare time.

Zayle Beiste was Knighted at the age of unusually young age of eighteen Galactic Standard Years and later received the title of Jedi Master at thirty-one years of age. He has never taken on an Apprentice, however, takes pride in his role as an Instructor within the Order of the Silver Jedi, assisting the students in their growth and development as future protectors and servants of the Force, while also seeking to discourage them from falling into the same faults as he did.
