On any starship, hygiene takes on a whole new level of importance. Keeping one’s self and fellow crew clean helps to prevent the spread of contagions and ensures lasting health for everyone. It was with this simple rule of spacing in mind that Visanj T’shkali created the Inspirit, a self-cleaning, self-contained refresher booth capable of being installed or included into virtually any starship design or configuration.
The space-saving booth combines full-body hygiene facilities with being an enclosed, self-contained unit which requires no special plumbing, wiring, or other connections to be placed virtually anywhere aboard ship. Users can experience a soothing full-body sanisteam and ultrasonic shower, where trace amounts of bacta included into the wash help to support and encourage superficial healing and speed recovery from the rigors and aches usually encountered in the life of spacers. All materials, including waste products, dirt, grime, dead skin cells, etc., are recycled in the molecular furnace to be converted into fresh water and other materials used, as well as to power the system, making it entirely self-contained.
One special feature – which does require a connection if chosen – is the sauna/drying system, which uses excess heat collected from throughout the ship to operate. The connection is easily installed or integrated into most any ship designs and this feature allows for a relaxing sauna experience to ease sore muscles and promote skin health among other benefits.
