The Dark Forge, Castle Ne'tra
It had been many weeks since the Mandalorian had graced the Dark Forge within the confines of Castle Ne'tra with his presence. Between dealing with the fallout caused by the exodus of Liberty Concord and participating in the ongoing battle between the Horde and the Moross Crusade, Isley Verd found himself devoid of the time to do that which he truly enjoyed: create. However, inspiration struck him like a wrathful bolt from above and this day he elected to begin a rather ambitious project. He had created blades of various shapes and sizes. He had made various materials resistant to the blades of lightsabers and other weaponry...but never before had he attempted to take traits that would succeed on a battlefield and apply them to fashion. That is, until this very evening. With the children tucked into bed and the missus reading before the fireplace, the Mandalorian saw this as the perfect opportunity to take a much-needed stroll into the bowels of his citadel. Long, confident strides bore the beskar-clad warrior from his personal study through the marble halls as he put together the rough idea in his head. For this, he would need assistance...and so he reached out to one who would be more than eager to help.
Through the Force, he projected his thoughts; seeking out the psyche of one who he called sister. Her name was [member="Devorah Verd"], and she was more than blood: she was his apprentice in the art of Sith Alchemy. Tonight marked an opportunity for her to test out her growing skill in the form, and for the two siblings to catch up on lost time. "Devorah," began the Mandalorian telepathically, "could you meet me in the Forge? I'd like your assistance with a new project." With that said, Isley continued to walk along the halls of his citadel, stopping only to procure supplies for the ambitious concept that grew in his mind. From one of the storerooms he secured a rather sizeable roll of Shell Spider Silk, the very same material used in the sashes that adorned the standard Templar Armor, and placed it under the crook of his arm. He then closed the door behind him and continued on, ultimately arriving at the entrance to the Forge moments later. Admitting himself within, Isley straightway set about clearing a table where he then placed the roll of silk. He then stepped over to the adjacent wall and secured one of the bars of Desh-Terenthium and set it upon the wood as well.
For this project, he had resolved to create the raw materials necessary for crafting a suit and a dress, complete with gloves. The suit and dress would be composed of the silk he had procured, treated with alchemy. The gloves would also be composed of this same material, with the added benefit of being laced with alchemized desh-terenthium. This would result in formal wear that could defend the wearer from a variety of ails...a fact that brought endless amusement to the Mandalorian.
