- Primary Source: N/A
- Manufacturer: Imperial Commonwealth of Dosuun
- Affiliation: Imperial Commonwealth of Dosuun
- Market Status: Closed Market
- Model: CHW-IGDS-X1 “Ingersoll”
- Modularity: No
- Production: Semi-Unique
- Material: Canarocrite alloys, crystal matrices, gravimetric coil housings, gravity well components
- Primary Well: One massive underslung projector — capable of generating system-scale interdiction fields.
- Auxiliary Field Shapers: 4 dorsal Grav-Flex Emitters for splitting, stretching, or collapsing the primary field.
- Precision Interdiction: Can isolate lanes, restrict only certain vectors, or collapse fields to catch retreating groups.
- HIMS Integration: Allows the Sondheimer IV and attached battlegroup to maneuver through interdicted space while trapping opponents.
- Grav Pulse Function: Short-duration localized gravitic shockwave for disrupting fighter formations or munitions trajectories.
- Massive Field Control: Able to lock down entire AO’s, from hyperlane choke points to fleet retreat vectors.
- Flexible Geometry: Field-shapers let the projector cage groups, shape bubbles, or funnel enemy movements.
- Fleet Integration: Can sync with FleetNet for combined interdiction grids with other ships.
- HIMS Capability: Unique advantage — she can still maneuver strategically while her interdiction field is active.
- Secondary Grav Pulse: Provides limited offensive use, scattering fighters/projectiles.
- Power Hog: Requires enormous power draw from Trinity Core, limiting shield recharge and weapon cycling when fully engaged.
- Size & Exposure: Massive underslung structure makes the ship’s ventral hull a priority target.
- Limited Grav Pulses: Drains heavily — can’t be spammed.
- Complex Systems: Requires Helion Data Core + crew integration; vulnerable to slicing if Black Vigil protections are disabled.
The Ingersoll Hyperdisruptor Well represents the Commonwealth’s Gen IV leap in interdiction warfare. Unlike older multi-dome projector systems, the Ingersoll consolidates interdiction into a single, massive underslung module, armored and reinforced to withstand capital-scale fire. This projector can lock entire sectors of space, but more importantly, its auxiliary Grav-Flex Emitters allow commanders to reshape the battlespace: isolating lanes, trapping retreating groups, or stretching interdiction to block reinforcements.
Integrated with HIMS, the Sondheimer IV can maintain interdiction fields while maneuvering — something no prior Sondheimer could achieve. This turns her into more than a static anchor; she becomes a fleet-controlling predator, choosing who may fight and who may flee.
The Ingersoll Hyperdisruptor Well differs from older interdiction domes by consolidating power into a single massive projector, stabilized by auxiliary Grav-Flex emitters. Integrated with a dedicated HIMS-synchronized control lattice, the device is able to recognize and filter its own resonance bubble from the interdiction field. This allows the host vessel to sustain its Hyperwave Inertial Momentum Sustainer pocket while projecting interdiction outward — effectively creating a moving cage that traps opponents while preserving the projector's own freedom of maneuver.
