- When the droid gets close to a vessel's hyperdrive and unshields its internal firegem array, any hyperjump has a large chance of misfiring, potentially destroying the ship or causing major internal damage.
- The droid can pass through normal shields, as with the standard Pistoeka sabotage droid.
Buzz droids are a beautiful thing. Fire little metal ball through enemy shields, ball cracks open to reveal nasty droid, droid starts chewing into hull. What's better than a buzz droid? A buzz droid loaded with firegems.
Strengths:
- If an Infernal can somehow get within ten metres of a hyperdrive, that hyperdrive has a very good chance of catastrophic failure if the ship attempts to jump.
- An Infernal has all the normal traits of a Pistoeka buzz droid, such as the ability to pass through shields and dig into ships.
- Ion weapons work just fine on an Infernal.
- So does your basic EMP grenade.
- Buzz droids aren't the most durable critters around. An astromech can take one down.
