Industrial Takeover - Rothana

"Romeo heavy 144, you have clearance on vector 279. decrease speed and prepare for tractor lock" said the woman's voice on the other end of the communications channel. The pilot of the Raven-class shuttle slowed the craft and released the controls as the orbital ring alpha quadrant control grabbed the craft with a tractor beam and began moving it into the nearest auxiliary hanger. The small shuttle shook as the beam grabbed it slowly moving it towards the massive construct.

The ring that encircled Rothana had once been a bustling collection of shipyards and factories. It had been one of the most productive worlds in the outer rim and a main manufacturer for the Republic and then the New Order centuries ago. The ancient Victory Star Destroyers were one of the main products built in the thousands of shipyards throughout the ring. Now nearly three-quarters of the ring was abandon and unable to operate in any capacity. Only Alpha Quadrant was still operational. The other three quadrants had spent centuries being tore apart and scavenged by pirates and the Rothana government alike. It was only because of this salvage the alpha quadrant was able to survive the centuries and remain operational at all.

Now as a new day dawned in the history of Rothana A new force has set upon the world with the intent of making it great again. A new corporation and governmental faction known as The Imperium and the Forge works they managed would bring about a revival of glory days of Rothana and its Manufacturing might.

The shuttlecraft slowly came to rest in the deck of the dark hanger. The lighting on the ring would be one of the first issues the forge works would address. They could not have their workers straining to see after all. They needed to be at their best to live up to the high standards the Chiss Officer Stela'shlit'nuruodo would no doubt implement. Greth had put the man in charge of all IFW operations and the research and development he nad his Chiss engineers would provide a very profitable future for the Imperium and the Forge Works.

The shuttle settled and the rear hatch popped its seal and lowered onto the floor of the hanger. A loud clank resounded throughout the hanger as the alusteel ramp made contact. Joran Greth and his four assistants stepped out of the shuttle and walked down the ramp to meet three gentlemen standing there waiting on their arrival.

"Moff Greth, it is a pleasure to see you. I trust your trip from Rythan city was comfortable."

Joran Greth smiled and took the man's hand and shook it. The foreman of the Rothanan workers union tightly shook his hand then released it. Joran looked at the men escorting him then back to the foreman and spoke.

"It was, thank you for asking. I however, noticed the security at the star port was a bit lax for my liking. I think your security chief and Mine should talk about strengthening security on the ring." said Joran as the two released hands and the men beside the foreman handed him a data pad. Joran watched the exchange and then the man's reaction to whatever was on it. The Forman nodded tot he man and handed the pad back then returned his attention to Joran.

"Forgive me Moff Greth, just an internal matter to be dealt with. You were saying about the security?" said the foreman as the man who had handed him the pad excused himself and walked away into a control room on the side of the hanger. Greth watched the man out of the corner of his eye constantly keeping his peripheral vision on him. Greth listened to the foreman then answered

"Yes, The low level of security is not something I would think benefited either of us. I believe the Imperium can help you and the union with security if you will allow it." Said Greth as he brought his full attention to the man in front of him.
