Inconceivable Irony

Space. It was vast, some would even say endless. That was one of the reasons that Tugoro loved piloting his starfighter in the dark void, for their were a limitless amount of things for him to discover. Of course, there was also an aspect to this thought that was scary to the youth, for what if he was never truly satisfied with his life? Then again, he had it pretty good. The young Jedi sat back in the seat of his Aleph superfighter, a drawn out sigh escaping his lips as he gazed out the viewport. No matter how happy and fortunate he was to have such an amazing vehicle, the idea of being confined in such a small cockpit did bug the brown haired lad to no end. It didn't look like he would be satisfied anytime soon. Either way, Tugoro knew that there was still much for him to learn and experience, no matter how gifted he was at the moment. A strange sensation would suddenly come over the Knight, one that was even more strange than the way he processed his thoughts.

A dark and ominous vibe flowed throughout the force, one that had no doubt reached Tugoro for a reason. A lot of time had passed since their last meeting, but the things he had learned with Illanthria had taken Tugoro a long way. He was a young man now, still quite youthful in appearance but obviously matured nonetheless. His ability in sensing was great, he was able to pick up on many things even out in the distant reaches of space. This disturbance was something personal however, something he himself would need to checkout. Reaching out for the controls of his space craft, Tugoro would punch in a few coordinates before turning his vehicle around. It would begin to accelerate forwards, before blasting off into hyperspace. Time would pass, spent by gazing lazily at the stretched stars outside of the Aleph's viewport.

It was a sight that always interested the Jedi, however his mind was in an entirely different place now. Tugoro knew that something had happened, but there was very little he could do about it for the moment. All he knew was that he needed to go to Naboo. It was a planet that the Jedi had not visited for a long time, ever since the Netherworld incident the youth did not make many trips that were worthwhile. Pulling back on the throttle, Tugoro's ship would ease out of lightspeed, approaching the atmosphere of Naboo. The force had guided him here, just as it had to Kashyyyk when his close friends had been slaughtered. There were strange vibes all around, though the boy could not tell exactly what had happened. Standing to his feet, the Jedi would extend his arms upwards in order to open the hatch of his vehicle, lifting himself onto it's hull before hopping down to the grass. Casting a glance from side to side, he would make sure to keep his guard up, walking off into the distance before telekinetically locking his ship. Having landed in a clearing within a forest, Tugoro would travel into the treeline, not at all worried as he embarked deeper into the unknown.

[member="Vishune"]

Vishune walked through the forest slowly and calmly. As she passed through the trees, the life inside them grew eerily silent. The birds ceased their chirping, the animals stopped moving through the canopy and the underbrush. Even the breeze, it seemed, stopped moving near the corrupted Diathim.
Vishune didn't care. There was very little she cared about anymore. She was only here in the forest because she needed to walk. Siphoning the life energy from an entire family isn't as easy as she made it appear, and she needed to rest a bit. As she continued deeper into the wild, a presence in the Force caught her attention. It was disgustingly bright. So much so that Vishune suddenly wanted to find it so that she could extinguish it. She turned left and began making her way toward the source.

The deeper Tugoro went into the forest, the more apparent the disturbance became. It seemed that this individual was approaching, and now that he was closer he could tell exactly who it was. He was shocked, to say the least. Either way, the young Knight continued on his way, eager to confront [member="Vishune"] and find out what was going on. Gazing around to the bushes and treetops alike, Tugoro could feel the unease that the animals experienced, something that made him rather concerned. Illanthria had always been peaceful, almost one with nature even.

Shaking off his nervous feelings, the Jedi would break into a sprint, using his speed to cover a great distance throughout the forest. Skidding to a halt, Tugoro would gasp as he stood to his full height, which was nothing compared to the woman's before him. She had drastically changed since the last time Tugoro had been on Naboo, and the youth couldn't help but cringe as he felt the darkness within her. Even so, it was true that she was beautiful, in a very strange and disturbing way. The Knight didn't even know what to say, but he did have one question as he took a quick glance to his utility belt. "What happened?"

Vishune stopped where she was, letting the source come to her. The boy looked alarmed, and disappointed. In the deepest tendrils of her thoughts, she vaguely recalled seeing him before. When Ilanthria had been in control. Two glowing orange eyes stared down at him in emotionless silence, cold and devoid of anything she was before. She didn't answer him. She just stared, like a predator studying its prey.

After glancing down at his waist, the young Knight had confirmed the security of his pair of lightsabers. They hung safely on his utility belt, suspended by a single strap for each cylinder. Tugoro did not intend on using the plasma weapons at this point, for he still considered Illanthria a friend and ally. However, the corruption that had taken place was evident enough, for the woman was barely recognizeable. "Hey, Illanthria!" The youth would shout, hoping to get her attention. She was staring at him quite intently, and it was beginning to become unnerving. Casting a look around his surrounding, the Jedi would study the area he was within, wanting to be prepared if a fight broke out. Only time would tell what [member="Vishune"] had planned.

Vishune's feet began moving slowly in the boy's direction. She didn't answer him. She stared him down as she approached him. Her current emotion was blatant curiosity. However, it could easily change to bloodlust or anger with the tiniest bit of prodding.

Things were not looking good, it seemed. Tugoro had never encountered anything of this sort, that being such a drastic change in alignment. Illanthria had been so bright and peaceful, it was hard to believe that she was gone. Then again, the young Knight had studied and learnt much in his travels, having developed a rather open minded point of view. Coming face to face with many types of powerful force users, be they Sith Lords or Rogues, tended to open up one to many different stories and views of the force. This person that was before him was still Illanthria, simply twisted into a darker version.

Perhaps that was why she had not attacked yet, or maybe it was due to the fact that the Jedi had not yet shown any hostility. He still remained calm and composed, standing confidently even as [member="Vishune"] approached. Looking up at the woman, he noticed her blankness and overall apathetic demeanor. It seemed as if she wasn't even sure as to what she wanted to do. Remembering that the Diathim preferred telepathic communication above all, the youth would tap into his mental abilities, sending her a message. "Illanthria, I know you're there. Say something." Tugoro wouldn't show it, but he was getting a bit nervous at this point.

Ilanthria is dead. As all Light dies....
Vishune replied. Her mental voice was clear and sharp, making the words drive their meaning that much deeper into those who heard them. What she saw was nothing more than a boy in front of her. An boy pretending to be brave. She held out her hand and flicked her wrist to the right. The sudden burst of Force energy would slam into Tugoro's side, sending him sprawling into the trunk of a large tree several feet away if he couldn't catch himself.

Tugoro's eyes would widen in shock, as he listened to the words that [member="Vishune"] had spoke telepathically. More so, he was surprised by the fact that the Diathim was actually about to attack. Hostility leaked off of her being like a vile scent, and the force energy building up within the woman was more than enough warning. Concentrating instantly, the youth would summon up his own power, forming a barrier of energy in front of his body. No damage would be taken upon impact, but the Knight would be sent flying backwards through the air.

Slamming into the tree, Tugoro would release a brief cry of pain, collapsing onto the grass beneath him. His back had been hurt badly, but he was only temporarily paralyzed. When he got up, there would be hell to pay. Struggling to his feet, the youth would press his hands upon the ground, slowly raising and directing his attention back to Illanthria. He responded with only an angered glare.

Vishune's eyes glowed brighter as she stared Tugoro down. They were like a predator's, the black smoky tendrils of Dark Force Energy seeping from her skin making her that much more intimidating. Even the glowing aura that all Diathim possess was gone. What she was now was nothing but a vessel of darkness.
[member="Tugoro Taidarious"]

Tugoro's own eyes would begin to glow as well, a bright green light being cast towards [member="Vishune"]. Tensing his body and focusing his mind, the Knight would begin to concentrate and gather his force energy, drawing from his own vast reserves and that of which flowed all around him. Emerald tendrils of crackling electricity would spark around the boys body, before concentrating into the palm of his hand. The large gathering of light side energy would continue to condense and charge up, appearing to be the technique known as Electric Judgement.

Tugoro knew that the lightning could do some considerable damage, but he also knew that it's principle was to drain the stamina of those who came into contact with it rather than frying them to a crisp. If Illanthria wanted to have a contest of the force, the Knight would show her what was good. Throwing his arm forth, a powerful stream of electricity would be sent through the air, hoping to collide with the Diathim. If she was hit she would most likely be thrown backwards, and drained of much energy.

Vishune was quicker than that. Dredge had once attempted to use electricity against her, teaching her how to be sharp enough to dodge the streams. She moved to one side, arching her body so that she could move above the green lightning. She concentrated her energy so that she could direct red streams of electricity at Tugoro. A ranged version of Drain, a skill she had been talented with since the moment of her creation.

Tugoro would grimace as he watched the stream of emerald lightning, it having missed it's target completely. The bolt of electricity carried much momentum and power, toppling down a few trees as it made contact with the surrounding forest. The Knight was impressed with [member="Vishune"]'s speed, and had never taken Illanthria to be the combat type. However, it seemed that Illanthria was indeed gone. For the moment. Interested only in subduing the Diathim, Tugoro would kick off of the ground, using his own speed to evade the tendrils that shot his way. Noticing that the woman was trained to mainly use force powers in battle, the young man would resort to martial arts.

Barely using his force energy, the Knight's speed would be enhanced greatly, enabling him to dance gracefully around the streams of red electricity. Ducking under them and even flipping over some, the Jedi's physique would move as a blur, the brown of his leather jacket standing out over anything else. Appearing in front of the Acolyte, Tugoro would utilize what he knew of Teras Kasi, delving into a stance that allowed him to employ extreme speeds in his strikes. Thrusting his palm forward, the Knight hoped to make contact with her face, releasing a brief pulse of force energy as well.

Vishune was very fast. But she couldn't entirely dodge Tugoro's next move. His hand collided with her jaw. She flew backward from the impact, but was able to land on her feet before she too slammed into a tree. She now had a large bruise on the side of her face. Though her face remained emotionless, her eyes burned with an intense anger.

Tugoro would begin to relax, exhaling quietly as he lowered his arms back to his sides in a guarded stance. Keeping up a steady pace of breath, the Knight would remain calm and in control as he examined his opponent, watching as she skidded backwards along the grass. Tugoro had displayed stronger feats before in battle, but he wasn't really interested in hurting @Vishune.

Though, she was definitely interested in hurting him. Gritting his teeth in frustration, the Jedi would ball his hands into tight fists as he met the Diathim's glare. "We don't have to fight. Just talk, you know me." Tugoro attempted to explain, not sure how to get through to Illanthria at this point.

Talking was something Vishune didn't do. What use were words when force could just as easily get the message across? She raised her arm to the left, focusing on a large tree next to Tugoro. She used the Force to destroy the trunk in order to bring the rest of it down upon him.
[member="Tugoro Taidarious"]

The bright blue glow of the Jedi's lightsaber would spark into existence, the long beam of plasma being swung through the air as Tugoro spun. The blade of heat would cut through the air with much power, for the Knight's strength was indeed formidable.

The saber would sear easily through the wooden construct of nature, causing it to fall before him on both of his sides. Deactivating his Jedi tool, the youth would turn his attention to [member="Vishune"] once more.

It was a good distraction. As Tugoro dealt with the tree, Vishune took the opportunity to quickly make an exit. It was not in her nature to run. But something was telling her not to continue. Since she didn't have an actual reason to stick around other that she was angry, she decided to seek release elsewhere.
[member="Tugoro Taidarious"]

Tugoro could sense the anger in [member="Vishune"] as he turned, but... She wasn't there. Looking passed the many trees nearby, the young Jedi was easily able to locate her dark presence as she fled. Though at this point, Tugoro was not very sure as to what he would do even if he caught up. The Knight had obviously angered the Sith, and it seemed as if her temper was nigh uncontrollable.

Releasing a quiet sigh, the young man would begin to calm his mind, slowly lowering himself to the ground into a meditative position. Crossing his legs and calming his breathing, Tugoro would enter a trance like state, allowing hours to pass as if they were seconds. The physical world was all but blind to him, yet his sensing abilities would prove more than capable of picking up any dangers. Perhaps she needed time, though if she did not return soon he would be left sitting for days.
