Coupled with its heavy armament, the addition of multiple pieces of equipment into the basis of the ships structure allows for it to be a dangerous combination. In the midst of a Space Battle, should there be an interdiction field in place, the Inazagi is capable of bypassing the field and continuing until its predetermined realspace reversion coordinates.
The Inazagi sports both energy sinks and cap drains, designed to better protect the hull from both ion and plasma energy delivered by turbolasers. With those in place, it was deemed necessary to scrub the ship of all flak cannons and any other point-defense emplacements to thus allow a stronger and more reinforced defense, further tying the ship into a secondary command role as a position in the Fleet, forcing the ship to employ support vessels and escorts to keep the attention off of the Inazagi.
Despite there not being an abundant amount of space-faring vehicles on board the Inazagi, the ship features docking tubes and attachable clamps to latch onto smaller, or even larger ships to allow additional avenues of boarding for the troop passengers. Should there not be a docking tube on the other end, the one being released by the Inazagi features plasma torches to melt through the hull, similar to the Katarn boarding shuttles of old.
