It had come as a surprise when the Black Iron Tyrant had reached out towards the InterGalactic Banking Clan with the request of a meeting, simply because of his more… humanocentric policies within the Panathian Empire that he had founded - but Vassik Kilvaari did not allow such views get in the way of business opportunities, he himself still held a lot of respect for [member="Darth Vornskr"] and this respect stemmed from the sheer amount of stability his Empire possessed.

Few people truly understood the value of a stable government, the economy, the credit and the trust of investors could only flourish when the foundations of it all were set in stone or perhaps some kind of beskar-phrik alloy.

The fact that all this stability came from ruthless bloodshed and fear? Well, those were - also - details that the Muun did not concern himself with. As long as the job was done and profit was there to be captured? Who truly cared how it was all accomplished?

Capital City of Panatha
The capital city stretched for miles across the bank of the bay, extending even farther back across the hills further inland. Towering walls and spires surrounded the city on all sides save for the sea, and within the walls were domed citadels an structures packed in tightly across the stacked tiers leading from the high hills down to the docks. Trees and other foliage were commonplace throughout the city, oftentimes stone was melded with wood to create a unique blend of artificial and natural architecture. The only structures that had no natural building components were the towering temples dedicated to the worship of the Epicanthix War Pantheon, and the War District (which was built entirely out of black durasteel) where thick pillars of smoke rose up from the forgeries as smiths worked endlessly to craft all sorts of weapons for the Panathan military. The largest structure, however; was the Royal Palace which was situated at the highest point in the city.

Attached to the side of the ancient structure was a landing pad that stuck out like an oddity, like a new limb grafted onto a body, and it was there that the InterGalactic Banking Clan representative would land. As he disembarked from his shuttle the doors leading into the palace would open, and a thin Epicanthix wearing the crimson, black, and gold uniform of the native military would stride out flanked by similar individuals that wore cobalt-colored ringmail and held blasters armed with vibro-bayonets. He would bow graciously to the Muun and would go on to say; "Most honored representative, the King of Panatha welcomes you to his domain, and has sent me to escort you to the throne room where he and his host awaits your arrival." While very articulate in his words, the man's voice was laced with the thick accent of the native Epicanthix which added a slight slur to his speech (although it was nothing too distracting).

Turning curtly, the envoy beckoned for the Muun to follow him deeper into the palace. The two guards, their faces hidden behind hawk-faced visors, trailed behind both of them by several meters. They said not a word, and when they finally arrived at the door leading to the throne room they retreated back to the palace garrison, leaving the Muun and the envoy alone. The doors opened, revealing the massive throne room beyond. Rows of pillars ran to both sides of the small pathway leading to the throne (which was constructed with black iron), and wreathes of smoke billowed forth from braziers across the room, cascading it in perpetual gloom. At the seat of the throne sat the King whom [member="Vassik Kilvaari"] came to visit, garbed in fine silk vestments with a crown of black iron and rubies perched upon his hairless scalp. His eyes, like burning coals, stared down from a heavy brow as the Muun approached. A pair of Crownguard, the gold-plated defenders of the crown, flanked both sides of the throne and were armed with vibro-poleaxes that stood taller than them. The King regarded the Muun with curiosity, and then spoke:

"Welcome... You are Vassik Kilvaari, are you not?"
